I totally support voting this new senate border bill down! I don’t care what Trump, senator or congressman says it’s bad for the US!!
Montanaman · M
@needsmilk808 oh, I so agree! 💯 %
needsmilk808 · 56-60, M
@Montanaman we have the laws in place let’s enforce them.
Montanaman · M
@needsmilk808 👍👍Exactly!

They are choosing party over country, plain and simple.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@ElwoodBlues Not even party so much as a cult of personality.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues Sadly, that is what it boils down to, and that is the way it has been since Trump became President by fluke.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Well, it's not like they took an oath or anything to work for the good of the nation instead of the Power of the Trumpian Cult.
Montanaman · M
In my opinion, (only my opinion)
Democrats, especially President Biden, allowed Thousands of illegal crossings into our borders, and the possibilities of increased crime and even terrorists attacks within the United States is more credible than ever. Trump? If he's got that much control over the Republican party, then that's scary in itself.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Montanaman Sounds like right of center to me. But we need more people toward the center and slightly left or right, At the moment we have too many people who are far right and far left, and neither is good for the country in the long run.
Montanaman · M
@windinhishair I 💯 %Agree 👍👍😎
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@bijouxbroussard nailed it!
Carla · 61-69, F
And it's right in everyones face.
All these terrible, horrible, catastrophic situations that are going to jeopardize our way of life, are to be overlooked or absorbed, for a year. Because...trump.
Makes you kind of think that it is a problem, but not an invasion...maybe?
@Carla The fact that Trump is suggesting that the Republicans block any moves by the Democrats (even those they would ordinarily agree with for the benefit of everyone) should make it obvious that he’d rather see our country burn than prosper with the help of his opponents.
Dino11 · M
Trump 2,700,000 illegal, President Biden
7 million, so far
Dino11 · M
@BohemianBoo He invited more,
Why he has 10,000,000 unvetted illegals
Vs 2.7 million vetted illegals when
Trump was in charge . See what the state
Of Texas is. Forced to do, since Biden won’t.
Biden used executive orders to rescind
Trumps policies. He had better do something
Before the election.
@Dino11
He invited more,
Any evidence of that?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Dino11 The State of Texas is in violation of federal law at the moment and has killed immigrants, which Governor Abbott is very proud of.

Biden is waiting to sign the Republican-negotiated border bill that Trump has ordered Republicans to oppose so Trump can use it as a campaign issue. The bill could be signed by Biden tomorrow if Republicans would stand with their own bill instead of giving Trump another blowjob.
Soooo ANYONE here defending this travesty?

*crickets*
Plus, Trump's donors want that sweet less-than-minimum wage labor.
@BohemianBoo I know, right? And then they accuse us of wanting that. More projection.
@LordShadowfire When it comes to conservatards, I think the racist ones actually do want to close the border. Some of them are legit Nazis that believe in the Cultural Marxism conspiracy.
But when it comes to Republicans, rich politicians who run the establishment, they actually love illegal immigration for the cheap labor. They just pretend to be against "open borders" because their voters are racist.
@BohemianBoo Oh, yeah. They're not going to tell their main donors that racism is bad. That would cost them the election.
They all have TDS 🙈🙉🙊
Bumbles · 51-55, M
I wish the Dems had proposed limiting asylum immigration rules long ago.
Bumbles · 51-55, M
@LordShadowfire I think I’d need to understand this history of the US in a particular country to make that conclusion. I’m a little skeptical that without US interference such places would be otherwise healthy vibrant countries, so would need to know more.
@Bumbles Well, let's take Panama for an example. Back in 1989, we invaded them, ostensibly to oust dictator Manuel Noriega (who, by the way, was known to have ties to our intelligence agencies, and most probably was installed by the US in the first place, and then outlived his usefulness), and basically fucked up their infrastructure, offering no attempts at reconstruction whatsoever.

This is all shit you can find at Wikipedia.
Bumbles · 51-55, M
@LordShadowfire I don’t really see that pretty minor operation resulting in a wave of immigrants from Panama. The country didn’t decent into chaos. Same with Mexico which has been independent for 150 years. Sorry, hombre, not saying it’s impossible just don’t see the evidence.

For Panama the opposite would seem the case. Under the new democratic government led by Guillermo Endara—who most thought won the nulled 1989 presidential elections—Panama began to improve.

You are a smart guy. I want to keep mutual respect. Surely, you know, what could be true! ☺️
And yet his cult members will still claim it's all Biden's fault. Can't ever admit that Trump does anything wrong. Can't have any cracks in that facade, no chinks in the armor.
@LordShadowfire The Republican dilemma............so many lickers and only one trump butthole.
