THE REAL PROBLEM IS NOT AT THE SOUTHERN BORDER

It`s criminal enterprises here in and arount the US illegally employing illegal immigrants. It will not stop until they refocus 0 tolorance on knowingly and unknowingly having illegal immigrants on the payrol with RICO charges and full seizier and liquitation of corporate resources of companies caught.

Well that's a part of the problem , but that won't fix it. The only way to really stop the flow of illegals is to improve the economies and living conditions and end corrupt military, legal systems and governments where they are fleeing from. And smash the drug cartels with military force for the terrorist organizations that they are. Only then will they want to remain where they are. In fact if that could be accomplished I think we would hear a giant sucking sound coming from the border as millions returned to their origami homes.

Even though they have a better life in the USA, few of them truly acclimate to America and still consider themselves Mexicans, Columbians, Brazilians, Peruvians, Guatemalans , or wherever they fled from .

That's my opinion after living for 40 yrs within 120 miles of the border. From living and working in a region that has changed , for the worse, before my eyes from the affects of illegal immigration.

@goodlil666 Southern Hemisphere is virtually an untapped natural resource vault. Whether by lack of a strongly structured constitution or by corrupted systems that get bought piecemeal by multinationals drugs are the best game in those areas for breaking out of poverty.

Drug cartels could be eliminated by not allowing the drugs to get into wealthier countries. Governments claim they find that difficult but they can easily detect and stop a guy with a few diamonds in a cigarette pack effortlessly. Halting semi tractor quantities of street drugs in plain sight however, much too difficult.

That really make any sense to you?

@SteelHands There are a multitude of issues affecting each of the countries creating the flow of illegals to our southern border.

I wasnt trying to address all of the issues involved in these problems just an over all idea of what has created the flow of humans to our border and what I believe it will take to truly stop and maybe even reverse that flow of illegals.

The illegal drug trade doesn't improve the economies, or the lives of the vast majority of the citizens living where the drugs are grown or manufactured. And actually cause more people to flee these areas to avoid getting caught in drug related violence. The problems are intertwined but they need to be dealt with separately.

The only way to really reduce the flow of illegal drugs to other countries is by smashing the cartels. And any one or any entity involved with them. They should be declared terrorist organizations and the countries of origin and destinations should supply the military manpower and equipment to dismantle and destroy every bit of these massive illegal enterprises.

@ManKing You don't really believe that would have any affect on the drug cartels do you? You obviously don't have any clue of what you are talking about. Illegal immigration and what creates it are totally separate issues from what drives and powers the cartels.
