Interesting story, not the best role model but honest enough in a way I guess. Decent of him to note,

"I am not fit for this office and should never have been here."

Although to be fair, Coolidge was no peach either!

He looks kinda sketchy maybe but I might have voted for him.

This guy looks too much like Dan Aykroyd, don't think I would have gone his way. Or maybe Robert McNamara. Can't decide which.

Anyway, details in link below...

Warren G seems like he'd be a fun guy to have a few beers with at a pub, but he was a disaster as president.

@badminton I have often debated myself on whether I would play golf with Trump. On the one hand, I play with a lot of different sorts of people. On the other hand, ewwwww..... I guess if the situation comes up I'll figure it out then.

Dubious source. Economy bloomed under Harding by him simply staying out of the way and reversing the SOB Wilson's (probably the worst president - even with all the competition) meddling.

Coolidge was great - last president to actually reduce spending

@Slade Well what do you know? Sounds like a fine fellow!

The government was getting "dangerously complicated and top heavy"?? Good thing we got that fixed! No one wants to see that!

The political genius of President Coolidge, Walter Lippmann pointed out in 1926, was his talent for effectively doing nothing: “This active inactivity suits the mood and certain of the needs of the country admirably. It suits all the business interests which want to be let alone…. And it suits all those who have become convinced that government in this country has become dangerously complicated and top-heavy….”

@Slade I disagree.While Wilson might make the top 5 list of worst Presidents,the worst President in history is James Buchanan,and the 2nd worst is Joe Biden.
Slade · 56-60, M
@DavidT8899 I can see that

Harding ran a corrupt Administration, even for the time. Cox would have made a better president, and his vice president would have been Franklin Delano Roosevelt!
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@windinhishair Interesting tidbit! Well done.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@windinhishair I may need to run a second poll on the Aykroyd/McNamara question however!
Coolidge was a great man and a great president.
