The Jews are not handling this right. If I were Netanyahu, I would agree with the terms for release of all hostages. After all, it is just an exchange of people captured by either side. If they want 1000, I would throw in another 100 as a gesture of good faith.

What do you mean? I have no idea what went on in WW2. My worldview is formed in present day America. Jews dominates US cultural world. Bibi's objective has zero to do with rescuing hostages. Nothing sells a war better than hostages who become automatic martyrs, regardless if they die by Hamas or the IDF.
Bibi doesn't care about those hostages or their families. Just like Putin, he wants the land and will bomb it into oblivion if that is what it takes....and a little thing called the Gaza Marine gas field, sits waiting to be explored and controlled.

@independentone I am reading now they "rescued" one, but I am unclear on how that person was rescued.

@independentone IDF is a misleading name. They are not a defense force, but an offense force. When they don't recognize someone, they shoot. They've hit several hostages, civilians and even their own colleagues.
None that I know of, they accidentally shot three though.
