@MougyWolf
Yes, I can fully relate.

I was raised by conservatives but then I grew a brain.
MougyWolf · 36-40, M
@Doomflower my brain was all about weed and acid and hippy dippy shit, and still is. Alas, I have watched a certain group infiltrate and attempt to destroy America from within, and that hurts, because I love America! Guess my thinking has come to change as a result.
Yeah who needs social security, Medicare, clean water, lead free gas, child labor laws...
Growing up to "conservatism" means you added racism, white supremacy and authoritarian fascism as your ideals.........and removed empathy for others, the concept of gay rights, civil rights...or the Constitution matters. Dictators are idolized....your conscience and ideals are ruled by conspiracy theories and if justice exists it should only be applied to ALL others you did not vote for.

Not exactly a thing I would brag about....but then it's your post.

Politically, I'm a mixed bag.

I was once all for the use of firearms, but now I'm wholeheartedly against it.

I was once pro-war, but after a while, I became anti-war.

I always have been and will always be against narcotic use.

I once was anti-alcohol, then I became pro-alcohol, but now I have a neutral attitude towards it.

And despite the fact I've never smoked, I acknowledge the fact that historically, it was a socially acceptable thing to do by people of all social classes.

But most of all, throughout High School and beyond, I've always been outspoken against peer pressure.

And despite having a slight prejudice towards Jehovah's Witnesses, I bear no prejudice towards other religions.

Also, when it comes to religion, it's not what people ARE, that I'm against, but what people DO.

For instance, my brother-in-law is a Fundamentalist Christian and when he married my sister, he became increasingly controlling of her and my Nephews, favoring my youngest Nephew over my oldest. That's something I could never forgive.

And by contrast, my Grandmother is a Universalist Christian, an artist, and a very nice woman who wouldn't hurt a fly.
Definition of a conservative…a liberal who was mugged!

Good for you!
PatKirby · M
As they say, you can only be one or the other (liberal or grown up). But not both.
MougyWolf · 36-40, M
@PatKirby exactly
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
Yeah, but you fck animals, so...
MougyWolf · 36-40, M
@basilfawlty89 You're right. I should have informed him that what we were doing would not result in pups.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@MougyWolf bruh...a dog literally has the mind of a toddler. It's animal abuse.
MougyWolf · 36-40, M
@basilfawlty89 that's a fallacy, animals are nothing like children, and are often the one who initiates the action. To say that a dog is incapable of consenting to screw a human is like saying you've never seen a dog with its nuts before.

No matter, you can ahead and judge on. In fact... waste several hours of your day telling me how wrong I am, go on.
