The most important aspect of any democracy is what happens between elections. That's where you take to the streets, you pressure your elected officials, and you ensure that the government is not a tyranny. Republicans do it too - the entire tea party movement arose from Obama's election.

@half cactus: If hillary had won she'd probaby be entering the WH with less than 50% approval as well. But the REAL issue here is the dnc rigged the nomination against Bernie, who a lot of people like myself would have voted for. If you don't like who won, remember that. And the republican establishment is to blame as well.
