Why don’t House Republicans want a elect a speaker of the house?

Would they rather show their inability to organize and elect than show any sign of competency?

@JSul3 i have mixed emotions. No republican could have become speaker if they "crossed" Donald. The house cannot function without a speaker and I am in favor of a functional Congress.
