Whatever city he was in charge of is now better off, hopefully they don't stick another republican in there

He was the "speaker" of the US House of Representatives, that is not a city, that is 1/2 of the US Congress. The will never place anything in his place than another republican, that is the way a speaker becomes the speaker, he is voted upon by the members of the house, and the republicans have a slim majority.
