I'm a white liberal and I don't hate my own race.

I've seen different political posts talking about race and I wanted to say I'm not a white supremacist but I don't think my own race should be held accountable for things are ancestors did. I know that the Native American Genocide, slavery, and Jim Crow are wrongs that happened in U.S History. I do think past wrongdoings should be talked about and not censored, I'm also ok with Black History Month. I am against hate crimes no matter who is doing it and I believe in Police Reform but not abolishing the police. I wish everyone would be nicer to each other, Jesus loves all of us no matter the race, so we should love each other too.

Congratulations on not bowing down to the latest trend of virtue signaling white guilt at the altar of woke cultural Marxism. Are you certain you're a liberal though? As a Mexican American born here in the US who's one-quarter Native American, I agree one should in no way be made to pay for the acts of someone else. Nor pay for the sins of their fathers so to speak.

What about reparations? Well you don't hear me complaining I should be awarded moneys for the Mexican-American War in 1846 where my ancestors claim they were robbed of five states, and should receive money. My ancestors may have indeed suffered, but that doesn't mean I should deserve recompense nor pay for anything they may have done wrong. The same for slavery reparations. That's why we left England in the first place long ago when sons would be forced to pay for their father's remaining debt after they died. Taxation without representation.
