Should people not be allowed to make a living off of politics?

Here, they get $400,000 a year, every year while in office and full salary as a pension when they leave. And that's not including the Prime minister. Their responsible for the state of the world and claim people on the dole ($9,000) a year get too much whilst their embezzling tax payers dollars to pay for their million dollar houses.

If they were paid the same as the people on the dole, this country would see some changes right quick and in a hurry.
