Just as you have moments of being mean and stupid, so do individual members of the group "Republican", and the separate group "Christian". You fail to recognize the millions of Democrat Christians, and the hundreds of thousands of kind and intelligent Republicans.
Lumping ALL members of such huge groups into the category "mean and stupid" shows a lack of perception, or temporary blindness, probably brought on by your own hurt feelings.

@4meAndyou yikes. You are blind to others gods. Who can objectively say which is the true god?
I say deny which not everyone can see. Because if we can’t all see it then why can say which person isn’t seeing right? We should only “believe” what we can ask prove with agreed measures. That’s what divides us- what’s in our heads.

@Stuffy Once again, you are in error, dear. I have never been blind to the gods of others. Not ever. As a matter of fact, I left the Catholic church when I was a teenager and became a Unitarian for a short time. I am sure you are familiar with the Unitarians. I respect the beliefs of others...always. I might think they are wrong, or blind headed, but I still try to treat them with respect.
There was only one person in history who, without benefit of modern medicine, could touch a blind man and make him see through faith alone, to my knowledge.

@4meAndyou How do you know you’re not in error? What measures do you use to verify your beliefs? Semantics with the ‘blind vs thinking they are wrong’.
You say that I am blind because I think your beliefs are wrong.
You may think I’m nit picking with words but I think that is where the truth lies. Do you see what I’m saying? How you turned the meaning of words to suit you?

@Stuffy I have what is called FAITH. That is a strong belief based on my own recognition of the Spirit of God all around me, in nature, in other people who LOVE, and in those tiny miracles called tender mercies, which are often inexplicable.
I recognize that some people are born without the ability to feel or see that massive Spirit. Some have the ability to feel it, but they are so angry and hurt that they decide early on that they WILL NOT see or feel the Spirit.
