He is laying the foundation to a global trade war and raising prices massivly for al consumers to protec uncompetitive american industries and their fat catt owners.

@Spotpot As much as I dont like the Trump strategy. (which is to line his own pockets) I cant see Bidens Policy have a large, long term effect either. Initially there will be some success. But once the low hanging fruit is taken, there wont be a lot anyone can do.. Other countries simply have a competitive advantage..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman The major benefit of reclaiming our manufacturing in country is to protect us against shortages of critical components & technologies such as happened during COVID.

@KunsanVeteran And that is a legitimate reason to protect those industries..Its also the reason those industries dont have to compete on price. Tanks, warplanes and supercarriers, or even a stratgic reserve of oil are the sort of things that few people would want "the enemy" to control the flow of...In fact there is an argument that oil self sufficiency for the US is a bad thing, because it reduces the home grown reserve of this still vital resource..😷
