Should churches be tax exempt

Given how much they influnce politics sometimes directly espacially evangelical right wing churches with their grip on the GOP.

That’s like asking should minorities be tax exempt because they influence politics. They have a grip on the progressive Democrats.

@specman Minorities arent tax exempt unlike deadbeat churches thats the diffrence.

@Spotpot if you go by the reasons listed on this post and some of the comments except they don’t donate, they don’t do work for free , they don’t do charity work and some other stuff then shouldn’t they be tax exempt since they influence politics by their protests and riots.
