So all that's left is the "evidence" the prosecutors used to get convictions?
It would seem like whoever made the decisions to selectively destroy evidence could be charged with obstruction of justice.
Are we heading towards a constitutional crisis? Can congress be charged and prosecuted for crimes? Political trials are by definition biased and unfair.

I think they’re afraid of what will be brought out that the Jan 6th committee and others have wanted to and are likely keeping from the public.
It’ll be awkward I would think that this knowledge ( videos , transcripts) that the committee had as you say, are gone, then then Defense should ask why their client is on trial, and ask if these videos and transcripts can’t be produced; is their client in court based on “ hearsay”?

@soar2newhighs
I'm sure they kept the videos that incriminated the people they wanted to incriminate.

@Thinkerbell But no exculpatory evidence for the people who are still languishing in federal prison based on their lies.

@Thinkerbell Yep. That's in line with what the public knows about Jeff Epstein, the JFK assassination, Hunter Biden, the Diem overthrow, the Afghanistan withdrawal and a few dozen other situations or events where we never got to see what's on page 2.

We live in very dark times

I think we find it funny and worrying that so many people only listen to what they want to hear and therefore any idea of a balanced view or even an acceptance of what is fact and what is fiction has disappeared from so many in your society. Way too many accept lies simply because that is what they want to hear. A great shame for such a great nation which has lost its way and is losing its soul@revenant

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Somehow, I doubt it. McCarthy doesn't seem like a real warrior type. More like a compromiser type.

@4meAndyou correct. McCarty is uniparty..
but there’s an official letter out there from the speaker of the house telling cry baby adam Kissinger.
Liz Chaney. Adam schiff etc etc . To preserve documents..
Let’s recap: killery deletes subpoenaed top secret classified docs.. no punishment.
Orange man: throw the book at him for aligations of evidence tampering..
J6 committee: watch this space later after they set a precedent with trump 🍿
