@samueltyler2 And you believe that propaganda why again? There are a few major flaws in your panic. First fault being inaccurate data. The data we have is so corrupted we can never trust it. Just one small example. Canada erased all its old temperature data so we can't go back and compare. Second flaw is that there is no causal link. We can not prove that any temperature change on the earth is due to anything beyond solar output and orbital change of earth. Should the earth's orbit be moved a bit closer to the sun by the gravitational effects of the other planets the earth will get warmer. If the earth's orbit is moved a bit farther away from the sun by the same planets then the earth will get cooler. However the one thing we notice is that climate change is normal. It has been changing since the earth began. Sometimes it is hotter and sometimes it is colder. Sometimes it changes extremely quickly and sometimes it is very gradual. The one thing we can rule out is mankind's ability to change the climate. We simply can't control it and to think that by controlling the amount of plant food we put into the atmosphere we can control the climate is borderline insanity. CO2 is not a driver of climate. The amount of it in the atmosphere is constantly changing and that has nothing to do with mankind. A good volcanic eruption will put more CO2 into the atmosphere in a few days than mankind can generate in a century. The earth is much more stable than we think or imagine it to be. Let's put that aside for the moment and ask ourselves what is the motive behind the AGW hysteria? Why is it being pushed as hard as it is? Why are there such panics among the 'educated'? The answer is really quite simple. There are power hungry people that want to control or even eliminate your life. This isn't fiction. The west has become what it fought against in WWII. Look at the covid panic. Look at the terrorism panic that happened after 9/11. What was the actual result? You lost your rights. Climate change is no different. It is all about controlling you and your activities. Youl vill drive zee car we tell you. You vill get the injections we demand of you. You vill not belong to any group we determine is bad. Adolf were he still alive would thoroughly approve. He perfected the technique and as a result there were millions killed.

@WalterF no, you are misinterpreting the data. There is clear data showing periodic climate change over at least 500 years, as per core samplings analyzed so far. But, the drastic changes occured about 200 years ago and the rate of change in the last 50 years has accelerated. I am quoting those specific years off the top of my head, you can look them up if you care. The recent data from core sediment in Lake Michigan is most convincing. There are places now where working outside is almost intolerable. Look at this summer's heat in Phoenix for example. I was in Greece this past month, and they said it was about 10F hotter than usual. For whatever reason you wish, the earth is experiencing serious climate change. Even if only 25% can be reversed by human action, why argue against it? We are the Earth's protector, lower animals can't.

@WalterF If you accept that the limestone we now see came from seashell that were formed sea life that used CO2 to create the shells...... 1200 PPM is not out of the realm of possibility. Strangely enough the planet didn't burn up when CO2 levels were that high so why would it do so now that it is estimated to be around 400 ppm? Sadly most people don't do science. They believe propaganda that uses the claim of science in their scare tactics. The only question I have is why do people like to be led around like that? Over population, immanent ice age, ozone depletion, acid rain, covid etc etc etc. None of these things ever happened as predicted but silly people still believe "the science".

@samueltyler2 The climate is cyclical. It sometimes happens fast and sometimes happens slow. You want to see the result of rapid climate change go to Siberia where they are dead hairy elephants seeming flash frozen some still standing with delicate foliage still in their mouths. That son is climate change. What you are in a pabid over is falsified data.

There simply is no global warming in evidence. That completely aside even if there was global warming there is nothing I can do about it since it is related to the earth's orbit and solar output and nothing to do with a trace gas that plants use for food. Silly you are trying to starve the planet since CO2 is the basis of all life.

If big business had not deforested so much of the earth, there might be enough trees to help handle the rising CO2 in the atmosphere, but, no, there were those who said there are plenty of trees.

@samueltyler2 I am simply pointing out that you are solely depending on government data that can not be verified by real world observations. The fact that the government lies as evidenced by covid is a valid point to make. The fact that you obeyed the government and injected something untested and unproven and likely deadly speaks about your wisdom and scientific acumen. If you still believe the government after they have been proven to be liars...... How about some real evidence on your part. How about a bit of logic. Have the CO2 levels ever been higher in the past? ABSOLUTELY! Magnitudes higher. Did the earth overheat and kill all the life on it? Obviously not. So again why are you in such a panic? Wouldn't it be much much wiser that if you believed in climate change you try to adapt to it rather than change it? Given you can't control it to begin with maybe if it is too hot where you live move to some place that is cooler.
