UK rescission

So here we go after 13 years and counting of Tory Governments , of failed polices, the big elephant in the room Brexit they can't even mention we have inflation now the highest in the G7, food inflation even higher taxes being raised more and more with it expected to be raised even more from today.

The Chancellor said a few weeks ago he'd rather the UK went into rescission to sort out inflation, well now because of thier mismanagement of the country, being too busy fighting amongst themselves , busy protecting Boris, defending all of their failed policies and defending Boris and Truss Honours lists to the House of Lords

With RIshi who was only elected by the Conservative MPs and not even by the party members ( and remember he lost to Truss and the Lettuce) who said he'd get inflation down, build the economy blah, blah; blah, blah

now the choice is either leave inflation as it is or cause a UK rescission as a lot of the inflation now is being caused by UK polices

We still have the same problems as we did decades ago if not worse now of which many caused by Conservative Governments

Before you moan yes some problems are from Labour Government were only in Government for 13 of the last 44 years

How are the countries in the EU doing, ie, Germany ?
gol979 · 41-45, M
@ididntknow its all rainbow and light in the eu.....just ask ursula, you know, the lady we voted for 😉
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@gol979 Ursula Von der crazy,
Why do people think that if you are part of the EU everything will be wonderful, it’s unelected, dictatorial, money grabbing, not needed, here’s an idea, sovereign countries, running their own affairs, trading with each other, not a federal government running everything, just like America, see how that’s working out, actually there are Americans in the EU parliament every day, pulling the strings, incidentally, did you know that von da crazy actually lives in California with her husband and five kids, and not in Europe, she’s a puppet for the Americans
gol979 · 41-45, M
@ididntknow the parasite class know no boundaries but use this arbitrary measure to pigeon hole and divide us plebs.

Still amazed how many who identify as left slavishly support, as you rightly say, the undemocratic eu. And also, surely devolution of power would be seen as something to achieve for people who identify as left? Seems inverted to me
PSuss1 · 51-55, M
@ididntknow UK GDP per capita has grown by 10% since 2015, compared with 24% in Germany. Both had Covid and Ukraine invasion to deal with, so why such an enormous disparity? My money's on Brexit and the Tory Government policies, by and large 🤷‍♂️
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@PSuss1 how about 2020 to present day ?
PSuss1 · 51-55, M
@ididntknow by 2020 UK growth had sunk so far that it would struggle not to "outgrow" any other country ...but 50% growth of f* all is f* all.

Now how about answering the question? 🤷‍♂️
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@PSuss1 so you think Britain is doing bad because of Brexit, why do you think a country needs to be in the European Union to flourish,
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@ididntknow to start with they are our closest to us and we need a free trade deal for all our goods or do you prefer high inflation higher taxes and before you say Ukriane or Covid this was always goign to happen with a no free trade deal
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@milkymum1 That was the case, when we were part of the EEC, which was fine, then John Major signed the Maastricht treaty, which changed it from a trading agreement, to a political agreement in which the EU rules over us, like a federal government,
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@gol979 you mean what every leader of an EU country votes for, now let me see when did you last vote fro your head of state!!!!! answer on the back of a stamp
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@ididntknow why do people not understand its more democratic than the UK, every member of the EU parliament is voted in by either head of states or by EU elections, now when did you vote for in the UK for a head of state, members of the House of Lords, for Civil servants, for a PM !!!

also every EU country does run its self they ALL have their own Parliaments, their own laws

What the EU introduced is then down to each EU country to adopt the law or not

As for America its in a complete mess as states run themselves vote in people who shouldn't be even President have laws that you can own a gun but can't buy Kinder eggs!!!
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@PSuss1 Well put, we were always going to suffer with no free trade deal and until that is sorted good will always be higher and so will inflation
milkymum1 · 31-35, F
@ididntknow becuase of the amount we import and export, we have no free trade deal now so goods will always be expensive which makes inflation higher
gol979 · 41-45, M
@milkymum1 so its not "democratic" and the people dont even get the illusion of a say in how the overlords try and rule their lives. Again, any devolution of power should be welcomed by the majority
