Trump Campaign Has Raised Over $7 Million Since Indictment News Broke

The Trump campaign has announced that it has raised over $7 million since news broke that the Department of Justice was indicting the former president.

Trump was indicted on 37 felony charges on Tuesday.

In a press release about the fundraising, Trump’s campaign wrote that “since deranged Jack Smith took the unprecedented step of weaponizing the justice system to attack his political opponent, Donald J. Trump for President 2024 has raised more than $6.6 million in just a few short days.”

Trump spokeswoman Liz Harrington tweeted the press release with an update, saying that they had now surpassed $7 million.

So proving that old saying, "There's one born every minute..." 😄

@leftsw That is actually rather frightening. Luckily, his supporters are deserting him.
@SW-User I agree, but through coercion he still controls his party. A lot of them are fellow criminals and he has enough goods on them to put them in jail.

@leftsw I think that's proof of the utter failure of the political class, both Rep and Dem, in the USA. It's the same here in the UK, where the electorate gave a landslide majority to an absolute shyster who has since proved catastrophic and was eventually thrown out of office by his own party. UK politics is in complete disarray. I agree that there was a rebellious aspect to voter motivation, with many regarding the system as fundamentally corrupt and ripe for destruction. So they elected the dynamite. I haven't seen the street poll, but in my opinion many voters genuinely believe Trump to be some kind of American saviour, just as many Brits considered Boris Johnson to be a breath of fresh air blowing through the political landscape of the UK. They are both indeed very different from the normal professional politicians we've become used to. Trump and Johnson are overblown caricatures from an outrageous satire who were actually elected to lead our respective countries. In the end, perhaps they are both what our fractured, confused societies deserved.
The more they attack Trump, the more popular he gets.

Meanwhile, Biden was taped taking millions of dollars in foreign bribes and he is still worshipped by the left. We have a two-tiered justice system in America, There are rules for Democrats (anything goes) and rules for everyone else.

@StrictSouthernHOH I'm afraid a Grand Jury won't see it that way🤭
StrictSouthernHOH · 46-50, M
@SW-User The grand jury is irrelevant. Trump is the proverbial ham sandwich in the Dems' latest slap on the face of American justice and equity.

@StrictSouthernHOH Trump thinks he's in trouble now over his classified documents (and he IS in BIG trouble)? Wait until the Georgia case🤣

the example has been set
if they can do it to him, they can do it to you
PatKirby · M
@Tetsuya
Exactly. Furthermore, if they can do it to a president, then Trump can and will do it to them when elected. All is fair on the two-way street called Pennsylvania Ave.

He'll get more supporters from folks who don't like him. Well balanced people are beyond disgust and horror about the atrocious direction of the government. They find that alot more horrifying than an occasionally boorish guy
StrictSouthernHOH · 46-50, M
Donations are pourng in because most Americans know the charges are politically motivated BS. Only to a Democrat is obeying federal laws a crime.
@StrictSouthernHOH are you sure they're not pro trump and anti legal for more Civil War era type grudges?

If more crap becomes known about Biden , they may try to extradite Trump to the Ukraine or China .
akindheart · 61-69, F
the Dems have crossed the line. it is no more veiled hostility. they are openly out to get him and people see it.
I found the street polling of Trump supporters interesting. A lot are saying that they voted Trump for the entertainment value. They enjoy his lies even knowing that they're lies. Others are saying that he's the best chance of wrecking America so that a new world order can arise from the chaos and rubble.
And what late night cretin's show did you see that (Pravda was too centrist)? And how much were they paid?

Why don't you talk about something else once in a while. I think some of us would like to get to know the person behind the posts....
