I feel like a lot of Americans have been brain washed into thinking that universal healthcare is the enemy.
Why are y'all so against being there for y our neighbour?

Americans seem to be taught that it does just cost $10,000 for a broken arm (etc) and don't realise the rest of the world looks at not-being-ill differently, as in... well.

There's a huge long list of amazing aspects of the USA but the way the healthcare system works is no 1 on the list of utterly and pointlessly shit things.
