@NativePortlander1970 The UK joined the EC in 1972 without a referendum. A popular vote in 1975 ratified continued membership of the EC with 67.2% of the popular vote and the UK remained a member. A referendum in 2016 resulted in 51.9% in favour of leaving, which the UK subsequently did. A large majority of the Scotland electorate was in favour of remaining, but their opinion was subsumed in the wider UK vote which could be considered somewhat undemocratic.

@CountScrofula People think there is some big agenda brewing. Isn't it giving our governments a bit too much credit to think they are even capable of putting together such a plan?

@CestManan That's always my thing right, how can the government be THIS GOOD AT EVERYTHING when clearly it is not good at anything.

Everything is getting privatized, more private land, more private education, businesses own government officials. New war threats every day. More gun violence. Higher prices, lower wages. Child labour, no retirement. No energy resources. But "vaccin" is the New World Order's way to enslave us lol.

I remember in my early teens around '89 and '90 how they were pushing the idea of the rapture. Of course there was supposedly biblical evidence of it happening this week and all this talk, televangelists flopping around hollering about it and collecting money...

I asked my dad why people were just living normal lives if we were all going to be sent to hell on earth real soon.
He said, "Oh they been saying that for 2,000 years."
I never worried again about it.

As dumb as some people are, I am more inclined to believe the earth is a square. So many squares living on the planet.
