Do you believe that Donald Trump should be in jail ? 🤔 🇺🇲

There seems to be a lot of charges being filed here.
And there also seems to be a lot of information we as a people are not being told.
You saw the news, and the headlines.
Donald Trump has been in the news almost every single day since 2015.
And it has been this way non stop.
Do you believe that after everything you have learned up to this point,
that Donald J Trump should be prosecuted and sent to prison.

Best answer wins. ☺️

Simple answer: no

@AthrillatheHunt Because 🤔
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Zonuss the optics .
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@AthrillatheHunt What optics. You don't seem too confident in your support for Trump. 🙂
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@Zonuss In my experience, what people mean when they refer to the optics is that it would hurt his chances of ever being elected again.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Zonuss I don’t support him . I support many of his policies .
@AthrillatheHunt You mean, he should be above the law because putting him on trial would look bad?

Actually, it would look good. It would show that we're a nation of laws and that no one is above the law, no matter how important they are.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@LeopoldBloom that’s not what I meant .
@AthrillatheHunt When you say "the optics," that means you don't think he should be held accountable for his crimes because it would look bad. I disagree. If Ford hadn't pardoned Nixon and he'd been put on trial and had gone to prison, that would have sent a message to people like Trump.

@AthrillatheHunt Which of his policies do you support? Putting children in cages? Lying to the general public about the severity of COVID-19? Deregulating the railroads, the banks, and other key components of the United States, with repercussions still to be felt in the next year? Or is it his policy of making friends with bloodthirsty dictators?
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@CorvusBlackthorne honestly I don’t care that both BarryO and Orange did that .
I support his policy of moving US embassy to Jerusalem .
I support his policy of releasing low level drug offenders from jail .
I support his policy of a Covid relief check to tax payers .
Those are 3 examples .
@AthrillatheHunt I support the last two, but that doesn’t make up for the other damage he did with his other policies.

@LeopoldBloom we are just beginning to see the effects of all the judges he installed. I would have bet my bottom dollar Roe v Wade was safe forever .
@AthrillatheHunt On the plus side, with the Democratic Senate majority, Joe Biden will have an effect on the federal judiciary for many years. He already appointed more judges in his first two years than any president since Ronald Reagan.
