The one thing you can absolutely, positively guarantee is that no prosecutor is going to lay a charge against Trump that has any way of failing to get a Guilty verdict. That would be a career buster.. So if the indictments are made, hes going down...馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman well maybe it is rather dead cert for any lawyer to take this prosecution on against trump

@whowasthatmaskedman We can hope so, but at the same time it would be nice to think a prosecutor might simply try to do the right thing and level the charges without worrying about his career.

@smiler2012 No one wants to be the guy who tried a case against him and didnt land it. So every case will be bulletproof before they indict..馃樂

@ChipmunkErnie These are lawyers after all..As much as we might like to think it......They are still lawyers...馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman do you think trump can wriggle off the hook seriously and getaway with it yet again . suppose as you say any prosecuting lawyer would need a waterproof case to stop trump getting off scot free again
ChipmunkErnie70-79, M
@smiler2012 Only need one Trump Cultist to get onto the jury to deny all the evidence and screw the trial. :(

@smiler2012 I have a lot more faith in the civil suits draining his pockets. But having said that, my Crystal ball tells me that once these settlements start rolling out the door his various funds will be audited every day to be sure he isnt milking them to cover fines and penalties. (and you just know he will be)馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman I agree that civil suits will likely bedevil him and drain his coffers. Between his creditors forcing him into bankruptcy & selling off the money pit golf resorts he bought with his TV $$$ and the barrage of civil suits & various tax, etc., cases, I think he'll finally be brought low and be forced to live...well, in a very lavish home. (FL is a state where you can build a palace and never have it taken...which used to be why so many crooked rich people went there.)
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@SomeMichGuy But remember. Mara Lago is a resort NOT his home..馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman Depends upon how FL law interprets it. He might have to sell part of it but still retain his part of it (it might be as separable as some contract terms...).
