BBC BS: Russian Reservists Fighting With Shovels

The latest war propaganda from the globalists is that the Russians have run out of ammo and are using shovels in hand-to-hand combat.

Um, no. They probably are using shovels, but it's not to fight. Too many people have died already.

Sadly the Ukrainians are being slaughtered by Russian drone directed artillery fire. It is devastating and the Ukrainian forces have no where to hide. Latest estimates have the Ukrainian loses at over 600,000 dead, injured, missing, captured. It is brutal with Ukraine losing 500 to 600 troops a day. That isn't a war. That is a slaughterhouse. The war has to stop and stop today. US and Europe leave immediately and let Ukraine and Russia negotiate a peace treaty. Should the US and Europe continue to engage in war Ukraine will cease to exist as a country.

how do you get close enough to engage in "hand to hand combat with a shovel"? Don't you simply get shot as you're approaching? Wouldn't you just raise your hands and surrender on the spot if you were "armed" with gardening implements?

@BizSuitStacy i think WW1 trench warfare involved rifles, hand grenades, poison gas, then a bayonette charge if you were out of ammo. not shovels.
@SusanInFlorida they used all the things you mentioned, but when it came to hand to hand combat inside the trenches, the shovel was one of many other types of weapons used.

@BizSuitStacy trench warfare was outmoded - and recognized as such - in world war 1.

at least nobody is using poison gas this time. so far.

Well, I have seen documentaries about the russian army, and they are taught to use their personal shovel as a "last resort" hand-to-hand weapon, but I'm sure that this is an exaggeration that they are being sent into combat like that. If they aren't issued guns, they are most likely rear echelon troops.
Dont all combat soldiers carry a shovel? 😑

Well they used pitchforks (against tanks) in WWII
