Dear White people, Scott Adams said stay the hell away from Black people, agree ? 🤔

I didn't say this. He did. He claims that a Conservative leaning poll says that about 23 percent of Blacks think its not ok for
White people to say out loud. I am White and it is ok. So as a result this is what we got here this morning guys.
What do you think about this story ? Is he right ? Is he wrong. Just stay the hell away from Blacks. 😂
Comments please.

Rasmussen is a questionable polling organization and Adams has always been a racist prick. And the phrase “it’s OK to be white” originated on 4Chan and was promoted by David Duke.

How do you think people in Germany would respond if you asked “is it OK to be Aryan?” The question itself is racist.
@LeopoldBloom
Pointing to a lack of outrage at Lori Lightfoot's comments as "systemic racism" is equating something that makes you uncomfortable with actual racism.
If society as a whole doesn't mind discrimination against white people, is that not actual racism?
And just to be clear, we are talking discrimination here. She's basically saying, I'm not going to give you the opportunity that other reports have because of your race.
This is similar to when Trump said a guy couldn't do this job because "he's a Mexican judge."
Right now in Florida, they are trying to ban any book that might mention slavery or any instance of past injustice that might make a white person feel "uncomfortable."
The situation in Florida is different in that DeSantis is just trying to ban anything seen as left-wing. That's really what he means when he says "woke,"
I don't agree with banning books, but there is a difference between banning books because they talk about race, and banning reporters because of their race. Both are wrong, but only one is discriminating against a race of people. Black people can still write and publish books in Florida. It's just the subject matter that's off limits.

I also think there are white people siding with this simply because they're scared of the open anti-white racism in society. It's like Palestinians siding with Hamas because of Israel.
Despite your cartoon, there has been a mass exodus of college-educated, suburban white people from the GOP.
Yes, but there's also a reason so many people sided with Trump in the first place. And even today, there are still apolitical people ending up on the Right. The GOP is such an absolute dumpster fire of horror that they should have no support, except maybe among rich people. But white people are scared of racism they see that never goes addressed except by Republicans who pretend to care.
@BohemianBoo How do you define "society as a whole?" I hear plenty of people complaining about white discrimination. Liberals think it's silly and conservatives think there's a liberal plot to replace white people with brown people. Don't confuse MSNBC and CNN with "society." Fox News has more viewers than either of them, and Tucker Carlson complains regularly about how oppressed white people are. Lightfoot is also being sued over her policy, so it's not like she's just getting away with it. What you're upset about is not hearing her excoriated by the sources you happen to follow.
Black people can still write and publish books in Florida. It's just the subject matter that's off limits.
Do you even hear yourself? Great, a Black writer in Florida can write about anything except the experience of being Black in Florida. That would be like West Virginia banning Hillbilly Elegy. You remind me of the "Christians" who say they love gay people, they just hate gay relationships. You can be gay as long as you don't have relationships with people of the same sex.

The GOP appeals to people because it plays on their fears. Recently, it was an invasion of brown people, now it's trans women competing in girls' sports and the risk of hearing something about a white person doing something bad 150 years ago.

He is a little man losing his relevance. He likely cares little about being cancelled. He's worth nearly a hundred million dollars. But a wealthy man, with skewed ideas and a fading voice, must make noise.
This will make him a darling of the right.

And when is 23% not less than a quarter but half🙄.

And where did he get his numbers.

Regardless. He's a racist pig. He should be just fine.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Carla Well said.
specman · 51-55, M
@Carla because he’s white makes him a racist? Or because he said what he believed? Or both? Just curious
Carla · 61-69, F
@specman if what he believes about people is racist (and it obviously is), yes, that makes him a racist.
Did you listen to the video?
FTP2024 · 46-50, M
Good thing about this kind of question is getting to know who the racists are.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@FTP2024 doubtful!!
Budwick · 70-79, M
He said, based on the poll half of black people are not OK with white people. He considers that a hate group. And that we should stay away from hate groups.

Some Black people I come in contact with day to day are totally cool.
Others are clearly out to find any reason for a confrontation.

I believe the OP of this post is black.
And, the OP is bitter, mean, and aggressive toward me.
He falls into that 2nd category IMO.

To make a blanket statement that ALL of any group is bad, I think is a huge mistake and tends to further divide an already divided country.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@TrashCat He's a spiritual wreck with no love for himself.
He is a miserable man..
TrashCat · M
@Zonuss yep. It's sad and he says he's a Christian.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@TrashCat He isn't .
deadgerbil · 22-25
He's an idiot who used that conservative poll as an excuse to go on a racist rant.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
“It makes no sense to help black people if you’re white.”

That pretty much encapsulates his opinion.

My opinion is simply that there’s no way to grow, individually or as a society, without inclusion.

Citing individual examples and inferring them onto an entire group only exacerbates the issue and gives the problem longevity - the exact opposite of the goal(s) of both sides.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
Unfortunately there is a tiny bit of truth here. The elephant in the room no one wants to talk about. Until we can come together and actually discuss this openly, much will not change. That surely doesn’t mean I agree to the degree of which he talks.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@samueltyler2 I believe if everyone just stopped the finger pointing and take responsibility there would be progress.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Zonuss from your lips. The US is splitting farther apart, more xenophobia and hatred every day.
Livingwell · 61-69, M
@Handfull1 Agreed. And the truth is the same can be said of the other side. Both groups need to get their houses in order before pointing fingers.
just some dude tryin to go viral and get clicks. there are plenty of idiots on the right, left and everywhere in between just tryin to cash in on the internet. and the more fuckin insane you sound, the more views you get from all over the spectrum.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy There is more truth in what you just said than people can fathom.
But the sad truth is that people will keep falling for the trick every single time.
@Zonuss just look at facebook........ sponsored ads one after the other tryin to get people riled up and pissed off........ doesnt matter your political affiliation or subject matter....... its all clickbait to generate cash. and people cant resist gettin pissed off and responding. no wonder i like to walk through the woods where i can get away from that shit. or on the beach. lifes too short to stay pissed off.
What he should have said is, stay away from 23% of Blacks.
@Zonuss Name one thing I was wrong about.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@BohemianBoo Every time you say something it is wrong. 😂
@Zonuss Lies. Say sorry.
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
I strongly disagree...
I wouldn't be here if white people stayed away from black people... I'm multi-racial.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@DragonFruit Are you mixed ?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@DragonFruit Then I will only stay away from part of you. 😉
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
@Zonuss Yes, I am of predominantly European ancestry, but also African and Asian.

I wonder how many people were in the poll. Didn't the newspapers remove Dilbert from the comics because of him? I think he is racist, and wrong.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@AliceinWonderland yup, his career is virtually over now.
@AliceinWonderland It was around 1500 people. The pollster was Rasmussen, which is generally considered to have a right-wing bias, to the point that aggregator electoral-vote.com doesn't even use them when they tally polling averages to make predictions. FiveThirtyEight gives them a R +1.5 rating.
TrashCat · M
Meh. It's just another scandal of the month. No one will remember this douchnozzle in a year (or less) from now. His comics will be on every conservative rag, though. Guaranteed
Scott Adams has gone insane. I think his most recent divorce tipped him over the edge. On second thought, probably his toxic insanity triggered the divorce.

Disagree most vehemently.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
What an idiot he is. I heard the interview and couldn't believe he said the things he did. He just about killed his future!
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@samueltyler2 It's not about his money. It's about reputation and respect.
I think Scott Adams has either lost his mind or wants the spotlight by making racist comments.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@BizSuitStacy Both. 😂
@Zonuss most likely
To be fair, a superficial interpretation of the poll makes a lot of respondents sound racist on steroids. However, I learned a long time ago that these opinion polls often lead to very misleading results, even when done in good faith. I don't know why Adams hasn't. The fact that it looks like so many black people think that white people's very existence is somehow shameful or ignoble should have been his first clue.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I believe that the less we brand others the less problems we will have.
Because there is no demographic that we cannot stereotype.
Which pretty much makes this all seem so irrelevant overall.
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
This site must mention posts about the colour of peoples skin every day, I personally dont give a rats ass about skin colour but going on about it gets on my nerves
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
@Zonuss If people keep talking about it it will never go away.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Justenjoyit If people keep teaching and harboring hate it will never go away. 🙂
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
@Zonuss I am taking about skin colour
