Dear White people, Scott Adams said stay the hell away from Black people, agree ? 🤔
I didn't say this. He did. He claims that a Conservative leaning poll says that about 23 percent of Blacks think its not ok for White people to say out loud. I am White and it is ok. So as a result this is what we got here this morning guys. What do you think about this story ? Is he right ? Is he wrong. Just stay the hell away from Blacks. 😂 Comments please.

Rasmussen is a questionable polling organization and Adams has always been a racist prick. And the phrase “it’s OK to be white” originated on 4Chan and was promoted by David Duke.
How do you think people in Germany would respond if you asked “is it OK to be Aryan?” The question itself is racist.
@LeopoldBloom Just because it was promoted by a racist doesn't mean the slogan itself is racist or was even started by racists. The truth is a lot of white people feel like there's systemic racism against them. And the fact that so many people get mad when they say something as harmless and true as "it's ok to be white" proves them correct.
@Zonuss I don't think it was an overnight switch. White Supremacy died out through a slow process in America, probably ending for good during the sixties.
@BohemianBabe Any white person who thinks they're a victim of racism is perceiving equality as oppression.
Just like "all lives matter," "it's OK to be white" has a subtext, even if you're either too obtuse to detect it, or you're ashamed to admit you agree with it.

The difference there is that "All Lives Matter" was specifically coined to be a counter-signal to Black Lives Matter. So if you believe there's systemic racism against Blacks, I can understand not liking the term ALM, even if you agree with what it literally says. But with "It's ok to be white," it was coined literally just in opposition to anti-white racism. So if you have a problem with that phrase, then it's betraying your own racism.
@BohemianBabe There is no "anti-white racism" unless you think giving equality to other people means you're oppressed. Those were the people who came up with "it's OK to be white." These are the same people asking why we don't have a White History Month or White Pride parades, or complaining about "CRT" being taught to kindergartners.
I'm not surprised that you're unaware of the phrase's origins and the intentions behind it. Most people are, including, I'm sure, Scott Adams. If the poll had asked "do white lives matter," even a racist pig like him would have picked up on that and kept his mouth shut.
Lori Lightfoot said she doesn't take questions from white reporters. Is that not racism?
These are the same people asking why we don't have a White History Month or White Pride parades, or complaining about "CRT" being taught to kindergartners.
We don't know that at all. I don't think CRT is being taught to kids or that any race should have a history month. I do think there's a lot of racism in America, but it's ONLY publicly acceptable when it's against white people.
I'm not surprised that you're unaware of the phrase's origins and the intentions behind it.
I am aware of it. It was coined by people on 4chan who wanted to prove that there's so much racism against white people that simply saying something as harmless and innocent as "it's ok to be white" will make people angry. Mission accomplished.
@BohemianBabe Historically, white people have not been subjected to racism in the U.S. They don't need a white history month, because until recently, every month was basically about them by default. And now you have opportunistic bigots like Ron DeSatan, trying to build a national reputation by telling other white bigots that they were right all along, and don't have to learn about how BIPOC were treated in this country because it makes them "uncomfortable."
It's like a kid asking his parents why there's a Mother's Day and a Father's Day, but no Kid's Day. It's because every other day of the year is Kid's Day.
Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States should be required reading. Those who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it, and that seems to be the direction conservatives want to take us.
"It's OK to be white" isn't "harmless and innocent." It's a big fuck-you to anyone who isn't white, because the people who came up with it meant it that way.
@LeopoldBloom I said I don't think any race should have a month, not that there should be a white history month.
"It's OK to be white" isn't "harmless and innocent." It's a big fuck-you to anyone who isn't white, because the people who came up with it meant it that way.
Do you have any evidence of that? According to Wikipedia, it was made to troll the media specifically because they knew that people would get mad over the idea that it's alright for white people to feel ok about being white.
@BohemianBabe Recognizing formerly marginalized groups is a necessary step toward healing. It's not like racism is completely dead and buried. I'd like to see Columbus Day formally changed to Native American Day as they are otherwise almost invisible.
I'm not going to assume David Duke is acting in good faith. Of course they're going to say they did it just to make everyone else look silly.

So shouldn't we not regulate the history of any group to a month? Shouldn't we teach about important events and people year round?

David Duke didn't come up with it, he just took advantage of it when the media reacted exactly as he knew it would. The pathological hatred of white people in America actually empowers people like Duke. He gets to point and say that he's right, so now we have no choice but to form a white supremacist dictatorship, which is what he wants.
@BohemianBabe There is no "pathological hatred of white people in America." That's a white nationalist trope that presents straight white Christian men as the most persecuted minority in America, despite their positions of leadership in virtually every area of society.
And of course we should be teaching this history year-round. Having a month set aside allows a focus on that particular group. Instead of complaining (you're basically saying "all lives matter"), white people should be grateful that they don't need a month of recognition.
here is no "pathological hatred of white people in America."
A rando online literally guessed that we can prove anti-white racism is huge in America simply by saying "it's ok to be white" because it would piss off the racists. The rando was proven correct. If this happened with any other group of people, you'd agree. But you've been conditioned to think white people could only be the racists, never the target of racism.

No group needs a month of recognition. There are plenty of events involving people of all races that can be taught about in schools. We don't need an Asian History month to teach about the Hong Kong protests.
@BohemianBabe Actually Leopold is telling the truth. An overwhelming majority of Blacks do not go out of their way to hurt Whites. Nor do they plot or scheme on them. These are just extremist talking points. So yes, Black History Month, is still needed. And people like you remind us every day why it should be so.
Actually Leopold is telling the truth. An overwhelming majority of Blacks do not go out of their way to hurt Whites.
I didn't say they did. The Blacks who said it wasn't ok to be white were in the minority. So like with white racists, the racists are in the minority. However, there are way more anti-white racists than any other kind of racists in America.
