Vegans are acceptable targets to mock these days but i've a challenge for all the meat eaters here: Watch and tell me it doesn't affect you.

"Most of us consider ourselves animal lovers"
It's called Dominion and if you can't invest the 2 hours then just watch the first section on pigs. It's one thing to hear about the bad, mean things that humans do to poor livestock but it's quite another to witness the terror and the pain of the animals as they're suffering slow, horrific deaths.
Tell me what you feel watching it.
Does it compel you to make different choices?
Does it at least make you want to make different choices?

I dont know about anyone else, but i prefer my food in its natural habitat....

The grocery, wrapped in plastic. 😁
@AceWarbringer

I don't know about anyone else, but i've noticed that people tend to try to make fun on this subject rather than face it head on

@Pikachu This is a very true point. All meat-eaters have clever comebacks justifying a carnivorous lifestyle, but no one will say "Yes, I've seen how we treat and slaughter animals, I've read the data on emotional intelligence and I still choose meat."
@Graylight

lol well not so clever😜
But yeah i don't encounter many people who are willing to expose themselves to the reality of the situation and still act so flippant about it.

You are just typical of the idiotic nonsense talked in a society of plenty. You need to get out of your little comfortable hole and see people in real need and then you might see that your little comfortable views are not so plausible in real life@Pikachu
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Mathers Kind of defensive there, Mathers. Feeling guilty about that burger you ate?
AceWarbringer · 41-45, M
@Pikachu i can and have butchered my own meat. I dont like doing it. But i like meat and am willing to pay for it.

@Graylight im an omnivore. I eat everything, as long as its safely and freshly dead. I dont care one way or another who eats what, until you try to force me to another path. At that point i get ornery.

That's a thought worth talking about. Not the flippant little quip you began with.

Do you have the means to do without (or to do with less) animal products?
@Mathers

Is it better to reduce the number of animals you kill and consume or better to kill and consume as may as you want?
AceWarbringer · 41-45, M
@Pikachu i could if i really wanted to. But i perfer not to. Im not a vegan.
@AceWarbringer

Don't have to be a vegan to reduce.
So since you can eliminate or limit your use of animals products do you feel it is an ethical choice not to?
If so, how so?
