Most people who criticize Marxism,Socialism,Anarchism,Communism don't really know what they are or aren't.

@BohoBabe I’ve read Marx and believe me I understand the fool. He never managed to support his family and got his maid pregnant and through her out in the street.
His idiotic policies have never worked and led to the murder of over a hundred million citizens killed by their own governments in the 20th century alone.

If that was true, then you wouldn't say things like this:
If you really understood Marx, you would know that no government tried his ideas. Are you just lying?

@redredred If you knew anything about Marx's philosophy, you'd know that he considered Democracy a vital part of Socialism. It's the only way the workers could control nationalized industries, after all.
Just be real, you never read anything he wrote. Your knowledge of Marx comes from right-wing media.

@BohoBabe Nice diversion attempt. There is no legitimate “democracy” in the workplace since people freely hired into a private enterprise have no ownership rights. If people want a say in how a company is run they are free to start their own. They gave no such freedom in a Marxist state.
There is no such thing as a basic service. There are essential goods and services people are free to work for. No one owes anyone* anything except respect for their freedom. If you want food, clothing and shelter, work for it. You’re not owed any of that by others.
How’s life on minimum wage?
*There are exceptions, people born with debilitating birth defects or people suffering debilitating injuries or illnesses who cannot reasonably be expected to work. They deserve our support and care.

@BohoBabe I’m not a fascist since I don’t favor the kind of state control socialism requires, national socialism is the most glittering example.
Believe me, I can answer any economic questions you can dream up.
BTW,
How’s life on minimum wage? You’re 18-21 unless you’re lying on your profile. You know nothing, have accomplished nothing and are simply envious of people who have.

@redredred You're against Democracy and you pretended that America isn't a Democracy. This is a super common Fascist talking-point. A Republic is a type of Democracy. But you pretend the two are different so you can openly support ending democratic elections.
Except you couldn't answer the question I asked because you know that no country ever tried Marxism.
You should have just admitted from the beginning that you didn't know what Marxism is.

@BohoBabe in a democracy a majority could vote for my death and I would be executed. In a republic my rights are retained even if a majority vote for my death. Do you see the difference? It’s not hard and it’s not fascistic.
Let’s deal with possibly the stupidest thing Marx ever scribbled out.
“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need”
The stupidity fairly oozes from that shit. First off, who determines my ability? Second, who determines my need and what if I want more than my needs? Answer those two things without resorting to state sponsored force.

@redredred You have to include context to his quote. A society in which it applies needs to be created first. Marx explained his belief that, in such a society, each person would be motivated to work for the good of society despite the absence of a social mechanism compelling them to work, because work would have become a pleasurable and creative activity. Marx intended the initial part of his slogan, "from each according to his ability" to suggest not merely that each person should work as hard as they can, but that each person should best develop their particular talents.

@Gloomy who determines my ability. If I want to be a heart surgeon or an airline pilot or a guitarist, who determines whether or not my education for these jobs get paid for?
Whe determines my needs? Suppose I want 10 ounces of lobster instead of the four ounces of black beans the commune wants to give me. How does that get settled? Who determines.

So this is actually Direct Democracy vs Constitutional Representative Democracy.
Really, you're against ALL forms of Democracy. So you pretend that we don't have Democracy, that way when the Republicans eliminate democratic elections, you can pretend that's just part of making America more American. Like it isn't the total opposite of how the country was established. This is a big part of Fascism. All decisions are masked as patriotic even when going against the values of the country.
