Eric Swalwell Proposes NFL Bet to Ted Cruz. Cruz Fires Right Back

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, had an epic response to Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif, Tuesday after the House lawmaker offered a bet to the senator on the Dallas Cowboys-San Francisco 49ers game.

Swalwell wrote in a tweet he was going to propose an “open bet” to Cruz.

“If the @dallascowboys beat the @49ers I won’t tweet for the rest of January. If the @49ers win you can’t tweet for rest of January. How Texan are you, Ted? Deal?” he wrote.

Cruz responded, “How about we bet a Chinese dinner instead?”

If China wanted an egotistical dimwit to feed them confidential information, they couldn't have picked a better target than Swalwell.

@IM5688 joe isn't compent enough to depend on telling information, he'd have to hand it over, but he doesn't have any , right?

So if Ted wins does he get a Cancun meal?

So for some godforsaken reason (racism) you feel compelled to keep attacking the first lady of a president that hasn't been in office for 7 years? And you believe you're helping your cause (racist) how exactly?
@Slade

@Vin53 what does racism have to do with anything. Christ, anti American leftists are the most shallow narrow minded one track idiots

@Vin53 And for some godforsaken reason [political agenda] you feel compelled to keep attacking a President that has not been in office for two years. And you believe that is helping your cause how exactly?
justanothername · 51-55, M
Is that because neither team could be guaranteed to win but you could always count on a good Chinese dinner?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@justanothername The “Chinese dinner” zinger was a reference to a controversy Swalwell got wrapped up in a few years ago with a Chinese national named Fang Fang or Christine Fang.

Fang Fang turned out to be a chicom spy
