Kinda. But they mostly didn’t claim fraudulent ballots, dead people voting, threaten election officials, or claim internal conspiracies. Mostly it was the claim that Russian influence swayed the outcome through voter manipulation. The claim is without that interference Trump would have never won. I agree there was Russian interference on social media because I saw it firsthand. I disagree that it changed the outcome because those influenced by the propaganda were probably never going to vote for Clinton anyway.

Didn't an investigation find that indeed Russia had interfered with the election?
Not that Trump had colluded with them but that Russia had definitely exerted influence over the election results?

I think rather that the claim is Trump was aided by foreign interference, not that he stood no chance without it.

If propaganda doesn't work then why has it been so consistently used as a tool all over the world throughout history and into the modern day?
Surely if it was only influencing people who were already on board with its message then it would serve little purpose.
