Secession, why or why not
Either yay or nay. Different scenarios of what the US would look like there was a secession. Do you think it would be a good move ? Why or why not

Ooh, fun. A different topic from our usual argument.
I'm in favor of dividing the United States into smaller countries, just because it's too big, and the people are too divided. I can see Oregon and Washington combining into one country called Pacifica or some such. Idaho wouldn't be invited because they are far too far to the right, and I would maybe include northern California, but not southern. Texas would obviously be its own country, because they've been acting like they are for centuries. The rest of the former Confederate states could form their own country, since they still seem to hold a grudge against the federal government. Beyond that, I haven't really thought it through, and obviously, we would all have equal access to the armed forces currently protecting the US.
Oh, and give Hawaii its independence.
