Secession, why or why not
Either yay or nay. Different scenarios of what the US would look like there was a secession. Do you think it would be a good move ? Why or why not

I think it would turn the United States into something LESS than a third world power.
If part of the country were to secede, I would definitely prefer it to be California. Then we could build a wall and try to keep them out of the remaining sane portions of the country. They are fond of bragging about their excess money...so let them run their state without the federal government to fund it.
New England is also sizing up to be a lost cause. Unfortunately, they have the best hospitals in the country...and MIT.
Got to think about what would be lost, if you are going to carve us up like a turkey.
