Secession, why or why not

Either yay or nay. Different scenarios of what the US would look like there was a secession. Do you think it would be a good move ? Why or why not

Many of those blue counties in south Texas have already turned red I'm proud to say. See those blue areas in NorCal to SoCal? I used to live there until I came to my senses and moved back to SoTX and began to prosper. Democrat political philosophy and its leftist brother Cultural Marxism are cancer, and those blue areas are the tumors.

@wildbill83 That is interesting given the fact that it looks like republicans will have the choice to choose first. I always thought it would make more sense to split it east and west or north and south, but I see that can never work since the biggest part of middle america is red. But I don't see how having borders around each state can ever work.

I never thought that I would ever say that I think that this would be the only solution that can work. But I'm truly beginning to think its the only way.

Why couldn't it be a peaceful split since each party wants laws and values that represent them ?
Yes those who are moderate will have to choose. But those who cross borders and commit crimes will be subject to that countrys laws or crossing the border to the blue country for example to get an abortion if it is against the law in the red country. I'm pretty certain that the blue would have no right to come to the red to protest for rights. But we could easily share some of our resources and ports and even free trade.
