Secession, why or why not

Either yay or nay. Different scenarios of what the US would look like there was a secession. Do you think it would be a good move ? Why or why not

Not that it would ever happen, but if there was an agreement to divide the nation, you'd see two dramatically different countries in 10-20 years. Blue America, running on Obama/Biden type policies would delve into socialism/communism. While red America running on America first policies would thrive and excel economically. After the blue gov't confiscates people's homes, their 401Ks and IRAs, creates a 30% unemployment rate, makes their frozen cricket dinners unaffordable, destroys the electric power grid to the point where people are unable to heat/cool their gov't apartments and abandon their EVs, blue Americans would attempt to escape to red America. But red America and its thriving economy would have built a wall to prevent illegal blues from sneaking in. Blue Americans would be fed a steady diet of propaganda, drugs and vaccines to keep them passive and reduce the population. Red Americans would be enjoying incredible prosperity saying to the blues, "I told you so."

@BizSuitStacy If things start heading that way, I think a civil war would have to happen first with no clear winner. I dont believe that will be the case. Once it starts the death and destruction in blue states will be staggering and most the blues would flee to Canada or Mexico.
@BizSuitStacy Your opening remark: “ “Not that it would ever happen…
I personally am not so sure of that. It happened in the 1860s. How many people ever thought it would happen?
We currently have have a very dangerous, feckless, incompetent and bordering on tyranny administration spear headed by a senile man who was installed by a major cabal. The man does not have a clue. He is mere window dressing told what to do
The border is not secured, the Title 42 restrictions will be lifted. This will see thousands more illegals crossing our borders and this administration is intentionally disregarding our sovereignty and tells us the border is secure. We’re being lied to!
This is one major problem along with others intent inflicted on us by this administration.
Look at this, read it and see how it is being implemented.
This IMO is why secession is a very real possibility.
@soar2newhighs I agree with you re: the current Marxist death march we're on. I was responding to the OP's question from the perspective of what a post secession America would look like where the two sides agree to divide the United States into two countries. I should have been more clear re: the assumptions I made.
@TexChik It's a difficult scenario to imagine, but agree it would be brief and incredibly bloody.

@BizSuitStacy Given your vision of Red America and blue America as separate countries, how do you account for @ElwoodBlues’ graphic commented elsewhere on this post?

@BizSuitStacy
A peaceful split might need to provide for a period of (possibly assisted) cross migration.
TexChik · F
@onewithshoes There will be no peaceful split. In order for us to follow the law we will have to destroy them to keep foreign powers (China) from getting a foothold here in the US.
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@BizSuitStacy Yeah, yeah, I know we’re godless atheist communists who want to eat each other. What I want to know is how you reconcile your predictions for a wildly prosperous Red America and an economically catastrophic Blue America with the fact that in spite of there being many more red counties in the country than blue ones, the economic production is split 70/30 in favor of the fewer blue counties? Blue America currently subsidizes Red America. Blue America are the makers and Red America are the takers, that’s what those stats mean. So, how do you get from there to your prediction that if Red America and Blue America split that Red America would be the richer country?
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@onewithshoes I would definitely hope so.
Convivial · 26-30, F
@BizSuitStacy i find it interesting how Americans mostly confuse socialism and communism... The 50s really did a job on your thinking
TexChik · F
@Convivial The only difference is communism uses force and lies to implement their agenda. Socialism uses lies and bribes.
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@TexChik Brilliant.
TexChik · F
@Theyitis Up yours comrade.
Convivial · 26-30, F
@TexChik no, not true...
TexChik · F
@Convivial so says the socialist.
@Convivial socialism is communism on training wheels. Your indoctrination is evident.
@Theyitis You're delusional. Agricultural America is bright red, comrade. Washington state may be blue, but east of the cascades where all the agriculture exists for the state is extremely conservative. Lots of Trump signs everywhere. The few Joe Biden signs you'll see begin with the word, Fuck. But you're deflecting...in your socialist utopian fantasy, the country is now divided. Both sides have their ag land. Your president, Gavin Newsom had sold y'all out to China. You ain't gettin' the food.
@TexChik
There will be no peaceful split. In order for us to follow the law we will have to destroy them to keep foreign powers (China) from getting a foothold here in the US.

That's the reality ☝️
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@BizSuitStacy Okay, but I still don’t see how your side gets the money. You have way more land than us and way less economic output.
SW-User
@BizSuitStacy you are completely wacked out, stop your elitism, that is not an american virtue.
@SW-User I guess by elitism, you mean acknowledging that free market capitalism has been proven to be vastly superior to socialism/communism. That absolutely is an American virtue.
TexChik · F
@Theyitis Really? Texas has 2 new oil field finds that can supply the entire US for the next 200 years. We have all the refineries down here. The Red states will prosper while the Blue starve
TexChik · F
@SW-User Stop your socialism, that used to be a capital offense
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@BizSuitStacy That's a barely funny joke.
