Activists and demonstrators need to remember if they loose the support of the public, their cause is lost.

Movements require the momentum of a motivated crowd. But if it feels it’s the target, the crowd will trample the movement.

I agree. I drives me crazy when someone does something stupid in the name of a good cause like destroy art a museum as an environmental statement. It only serves to discredit the cause and make it's adherents look like idiots.

The crowd can go either way and can become extremely stupid
you think BLM will have the hide to riot and demand more donations this cycle?

i think the leaders buying mansions and not spending a red cent on black communities.
might be a good example ...

do you think there’s anything average public can do and get enough momentum?
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@SW-User It was the public that began the process of bringing down the Berlin Wall and reunifying a country. Yes I do.

@WintaTheAngle what would you say we could learn from history?
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@SW-User What I said in my original post. People who are arrogant enough to forget where their power comes from will end up being reminded.
The majority dont support democrats today.

@WintaTheAngle it perfectly explains the extreme American culture 🤷
