No but what they go after should be realigned. Think about it the police and the federal government will go after someone for consuming a plant that grows in nature. There is that and many other things that should be none of their business.

@Subsumedpat I happen to agree. Legalization of drugs does not create more addicts. People who don't use them won't just because they're legal and the ones who do use them have been finding them already. Better to be safe, protective and, honestly, if you're so damned concerned about peoples' health and drugs (government), then go ahead and do it right with adequate healthcare coverage for all.

@Graylight Of big concern is the money. The money in illegal drugs brings the violence not the drugs.
