Anyone answer this?

Ask a Republican if Hunter should show up if he is subpoenaed by congress.

Then ask them why ?
Well trump didn't show up so why should anybody obey a subpoena.
@canusernamebemyusername Trump's was a rather small subpoena...
daisymay · 51-55, T
@LordShadowfire No one has ever seen a subpoena so yuge in the entire history of the world.

I dont care I want I know what they are gonna do about inflation. If they think they got put in because people wanted them to do something about Hunter Biden instead of doing something about the economy they will be out next election
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
@Fungirlvape They cared about it when they were blaming Biden for it. They better worry about it cause we will.

@Subsumedpat they are there to create chaos and 2 years of propaganda.

@Fungirlvape Hope not but that town needs an enema
@Vin53 says
The best part of this is that the GOP KNOWS that whatever is on this laptop of his has a chain of custody of about a dozen different handlers and locations.
And it gets worse. Here's excerpts from a WaPo article - key phrase from the last paragraph: "... because the data had been handled repeatedly in a manner that deleted logs and other files that forensic experts use to establish a file’s authenticity."
That's right, log files were deleted. Did someone modify the data and clumsily try cover their footprints? Can the "deleted" sectors still be found and read?? Whatever the case, handlers of the laptop along that chain of custody have some 'splainin' to do!
Here’s how The Post analyzed Hunter Biden’s laptop
Washington Post
March 30, 2022

Thousands of emails purportedly from the laptop computer of Hunter Biden, President Biden’s son, are authentic communications that can be verified through cryptographic signatures from Google and other technology companies, say two security experts who examined the data at the request of The Washington Post.

The verifiable emails are a small fraction of 217 gigabytes of data provided to The Post on a portable hard drive by Republican activist Jack Maxey. He said the contents of the portable drive originated from Hunter Biden’s MacBook Pro, which Hunter reportedly dropped off at a computer repair shop in Wilmington, Del., in April 2019 and never reclaimed.

. . .

Among the reasons for the inconclusive findings was sloppy handling of the data, which damaged some records. The experts found the data had been repeatedly accessed and copied by people other than Hunter Biden over nearly three years. The MacBook itself is now in the hands of the FBI, which is investigating whether Hunter Biden properly reported income from business dealings.

. . .

At The Post’s request, Matt Green, a Johns Hopkins University security researcher who specializes in cryptography, and Jake Williams, a forensics expert and former National Security Agency operative who once hacked the computers of foreign adversaries, separately examined two copies The Post made of the portable drive Maxey provided.

. . .

In their examinations, Green and Williams found evidence that people other than Hunter Biden had accessed the drive and written files to it, both before and after the initial stories in the New York Post and long after the laptop itself had been turned over to the FBI.

Maxey had alerted The Washington Post to this issue in advance, saying that others had accessed the data to examine its contents and make copies of files. But the lack of what experts call a “clean chain of custody” undermined Green’s and Williams’s ability to determine the authenticity of most of the drive’s contents.

. . .

Analysis was made significantly more difficult, both experts said, because the data had been handled repeatedly in a manner that deleted logs and other files that forensic experts use to establish a file’s authenticity.
The best part of this is that the GOP KNOWS that whatever is on this laptop of his has a chain of custody of about a dozen different handlers and locations.

No good defense lawyer is going to allow any part of whatever is on there to see the inside of a courtroom.
Vin53 · M
It would never happen for the very reason I brought up.

@Ryderbike
@Vin53 they already have stated they will be investigating hunter . In fact today

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) appeared on Thursday’s Special Report on Fox News, where anchor Bret Baier questioned him about his plans to investigate Hunter Biden.

As the ranking member of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, Comer stands to become the committee’s chair in the next Congress after Republicans retook the House. Comer has made no secret of his intention to investigate the business dealings of President Joe Biden’s son.

Yes. To no ones surprised, they've said all along they will investigate HB but its a futile attempt at getting DOJ to do much more than prosecute HB on a gun charge.

They latch on to anything they can as they continue to try and ignore the destruction they cause.

That fucking laptop was investigated by the FBI, when Trump was still President, for nearly a year. They found nothing, and the chain of custody, as well as how it came into Giualiani's possession is a whole other level of lunacy on its own. And then there's the legally blind computer repair store, who could not identify the guy who dropped the laptop off.

Pretty solid case, huh? 😂😂
WonderGirl · 36-40
What does Hunter have to do with anything? Did he ever hold office?
@WonderGirl republicans are obsessed with him apparently
WonderGirl · 36-40
@Ryderbike I've seen many of the photos on his laptop. He's doing drugs and having sex. Who cares. lol
@WonderGirl I know, right? It's not like he's stealing top secret documents and taking them to his house in Mar-A-Lago...
Why would Hunter show up? Show me a Republican that does.
I think Hunter should show up and say, in answer to every question, "Like Donald Trump and Don Jr and Eric Trump, I plead the 5th Amendment."

Maybe he could have it printed on a card and just hold up the card in answer to every question.
Whatever. Tit for tate. Politics eludes the show biz nation in war time.
@Roundandroundwego whatever? Perfect observation of the right wing respect for the constitution.

Thankyou
