As an outsider I have to say the outcome of the 2022 election gave hope that civility and reason will play a more dominant role in America in the future!

@helenS Gen Z helped the Democrats win in the midterms. The younger generation are not as tribal. They've gone to school with people of all races. They have also grown up with active shooter drills because of Republican's gun laws. The Republicans are scared shitty of young voters. They want to take their right to vote away until they are 21. A delay they hope will help them completely take over the Justice System in the US.
