This election was the best thing that could happen to Republicans

1) Winning back the House enables Repulicans to block Biden's catastrophic big brother legislation as well as to set some of the legislative agenda. It also allows for hearings on some of the misdeeds of the current administration.

2) When the shit hits the fan over the Biden policies the Democrats won't be able to blame a Republican congress. The Republicans were not the "dog that caught the car".

3) Trump was seriously damaged. The Trump mystique, to the extent it still existed, may now be gone. This will allow serious Republican candidates to emerge and compete using conservative ideas to bring our society back to sanity.

Damaging Trump was the only agenda of the left . Since it was purely propaganda they had to stay clear of the courts and create a kangaroo court where they didn’t have to worry about his civil rights or the rule of law . They are afraid of him And no lie is too big to tell in their quest to destroy him. Now he’s back and will be all over the television slamming Biden’s disastrous administration.

@TexChik I think Trump had some excellent insights and policies. Four I can think of are
1) China
2) Illegal Immigration
3) European dependency on Russian oil
4) Covid operation Warp Speed.

Having said that, I'm not a fan of Trump overall. There are other conservatives with a more coherent vision of what America is and should be about. I look forward to hearing all sides.

Then they have nothing. Nothing. Except the knowledge that the only way they can win is by lying, cheating and stealing. Like the Blackfoot said 'those that lie down with dogs, get up with fleas.'
