It wouldn't have mattered if the republicans had agreed with everything the democrats did. The election was fraudulent.

@hippyjoe1955 it seems your interpretation of reality is losing popularity
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@NoahB Only for those who refuse to see the fraud. I said back before the last presidential election that if the US did not fix its elections it would never have another honest one and guess what. There are truck loads of ballots being dropped off to increase the democrat vote count. If you can't see the fraud you are simply not looking. BTW I would say the same if the republicans were doing it as well. It would seem the republicans are going along with it so......

@hippyjoe1955 So, let me get this straight, after all of the recounts, law suits, etc., your definition of a non-fraudulent election is only ones that the far-right win!
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 You are truly misinformed. There have been no accurate recounts or court cases. The fact is that there are thousands of 'ballots' out there without proper chain of custody. I lived through voter fraud here in Canada and we have a lot tighter security around our vote counts than the US does. Our ballots are very simple with just one slate of candidates leaving the voter with 4 or 5 choices. You show up to vote present your ID and are given a ballot. You mark your choice and the ballot is put in the box that is guarded by two workers one from each major political party. At the end of the day the ballots are counted and the winner declared. Pretty fool proof. The candidate who won had an extra ballot box show up after the count was underway. That was not allowed in the next election so the candidate had her supporters vote based on their home address and their business address. The candidate won by the slimmest majority and got the name Landslide Anne. She lost the next election because her cheating was known and forbidden. The US with the huge ballots and counting machines hooked to the internet and voting machines that allow the votes to be switched etc etc etc. If you think there was no voter fraud you are delusional

@hippyjoe1955 I wonder what’s scarier for you. Being right about everything you’re talking about or finding out you’re wrong about everything you’re talking about.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@hippyjoe1955 you are way off base. There is no 🧾 fence of any fraud in the prior election nor this one. You can blab all you want, there may be law suits from this election coming, but all previous election has been carefully studied and you are totally projecting insane saying it was fraudulently decided.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 No what I said is absolutely accurate. The US has designed an electoral system to keep the powerful in power. It abandoned the idea of representative republic decades ago.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@hippyjoe1955 you are delusional!
NoahB · 31-35, M
@samueltyler2 he’s correct to an extent. But he’s incorrect about the framing. The electoral system we had was indeed designed to keep the powerful in power.
Though where he’s wrong is the belief that republicans didn’t greatly benefit from this. Trump and GWB both lost the popular vote but still somehow became president.
What’s really happening is electoral bulwarks that kept republicans relevant are increasingly becoming less effective as more and more people vote. Record breaking youth turnout for these midterms

@NoahB sorry, you need to reread history. The electoral system was intended to avoid a plurality from dominating the minority. Further, since it was based on the number of senators and representatives, it favors those living in states with lower population, at the time, that was the slave-owning south. The republicans learned better how to "play" the system.
NoahB · 31-35, M
@samueltyler2 were saying the same thing. The electoral system was built in a way that favored the powerful (slave owners). Republicans use it today to remain politically relevant despite never having a majority voting block.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@NoahB I didn't say which side I chose. I mentioned that the democrats committed massive electoral fraud and there is a ton of evidence in support of my contention. I would say exactly the same of the republicans. The fact is the repuplocrats are one and the same party. They have no intention of changing a thing should they gain power.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@hippyjoe1955 one last time, stop with your BS about massive voter fraud! There is absolutely no credible evidence of such!
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 Carry on in your delusions.
