When people assume violent crime only happens in Democratic run cities but never lived in Arkansas

Arkansas ranks 4th in violent crime. Last week there was a shooting spree that led to a car chase and some dude murdered his relative at some hospital some time ago, along with another shooting spree that occurred this year and other violent crimes that happen. So that sounds about right lol. And lets not talk about the drug crisis, that's pretty bad here too.

Nobody says violent crime only happens in Democrat run cities. That's not even a smart lie. Large cities attract crime because large groups of people wind up living together in limited amounts of space. There are more groups of losers on welfare who live in the projects. You find this more in the large cities.

The question you have to ask yourself is the political party of the leadership of the largest cities in America.

When Rudy Guiliani became New York City's mayor, violent crime PLUMMETED.

https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/press-release-mayor-giuliani-cleaned-new-york-city

Mayor Giuliani Cleaned Up The City: Residents Wanted To Stay And Not Leave Like They Did Prior To His Administration. According to a 1990 Time magazine poll, 59% of New Yorkers said they would live somewhere else if they could, but by the end of Mayor Giuliani's time in office, just 31% said that they'd want to live somewhere else. (Joelle Attinger, "The Decline of New York," Time, 9/17/90; The New York Times/CBS News Poll, Conducted 10/6/01-10/9/01, Results Available At: www.nytimes.com, Accessed 4/20/07)

GIULIANI CUT CRIME 56% AS MAYOR

Between 1993 To 2001, New York City Experienced A 66% Decline In Murders. ("1993 FBI Uniform Crime Report: 1993 Index Of Crime By Metropolitan Statistical Area" Federal Bureau Of Investigations; "2001 FBI Uniform Crime Report: 2001 Index Of Crime By Metropolitan Statistical Area," Federal Bureau Of Investigations)

During The Same Time Period, There Was A 72% Decline In Shootings. ("Reengineering Municipal Services 1994-2001," City Of New York Office Of Operations)

If you can point to a large city where there is a lot of violent crime with a Republican mayor, let's see it.
So far, the most dangerous big cities in America are led by Democrats. And a lot of these Democrats are releasing violent felons from prison.

Wanna see an area with a declining amount of crime? Try Polk County, Florida, (location of Lakeland, Auburndale, Winter Haven, and some smaller towns.) Sheriff Grady Judd is a hardass when it comes to crime. Also, the residents of Polk County are heavily armed and will not hesitate to SHOOT YOU if you try carjacking, home invasions, rape, kidnapping, etc. Criminals may be stupid but they aren't THAT stupid.

@SW-User Also, it's pretty hard to point to large cities with Republican mayors at all, regardless of their crime rates.

@SW-User That is a lie. Republicans CORRECTLY say large cities have MORE violent crime. '

And also there is violent crime EVERYWHERE, in every state. Republicans have never denied that.

Dude, I live in Arkansas and there aren’t many large cities here. There are however, small cities, towns, and rural communities and most of them here have a drug or violence problem. Small communities such as Osceola, Arkansas has violent crime and the population is over 6,000. Helena, West-Helena, has a population of 10,000 has violent crimes. Even Conway, Arkansas a small city which has a population of over 66,000 has property and assault crimes. None of these areas I mentioned are large cities.

And also there is violent crime EVERYWHERE, in every state. Republicans have never denied that.

Now you’re just contradicting yourself.

look @ the five worst crime cities in the USA ... all run by democrats for decades
the largest city in Arkansas is democratic run which has the 2nd highest crime rate in Arkansas
the city with the highest is also run by democrats is Heleana

so your conclusion that the high crime rate is due to your republican govenor is flawed
check your facts before you throw stones @ anybody

@OggggO just because NY isnt on top of the list doesnt mean that crime in NYC isnt high and your missing the whole point ............ look @ the states your talking about & look @ the cities in them with high crime rates and whose controlling them

also NYC spends more funds then say alaska which might be why crime is down
also if the state is more rural and only has state police (some places have local, county, state, park, federal, sherrif) that is a contributing factor

@pdockal You're just outright contradicting yourself now. "It's the cities in these states are where the crime is coming from, but also crime is higher because rural areas have fewer police than cities."

@OggggO if you think so ..... but im not going to debate any further ....
A person I follow on Youtube used to be a dealer in heroine and meth and they moved from New York to Arkansas to run dope. If you believe the right wingers here that should be backwards.

Wow. I bet there are many more people who've done the same.

The Southern States have the highest crime rates in the country. These people are drastically misinformed. Talking about inner city crime is only a deflection they use to distract you from their own social ills and incompetence.
Crime isn't the issue. Cracking down on the population needs excuses.
