Nobody says violent crime only happens in Democrat run cities. That's not even a smart lie. Large cities attract crime because large groups of people wind up living together in limited amounts of space. There are more groups of losers on welfare who live in the projects. You find this more in the large cities.
The question you have to ask yourself is the political party of the leadership of the largest cities in America.
When Rudy Guiliani became New York City's mayor, violent crime PLUMMETED.

If you can point to a large city where there is a lot of violent crime with a Republican mayor, let's see it.
So far, the most dangerous big cities in America are led by Democrats. And a lot of these Democrats are releasing violent felons from prison.
Wanna see an area with a declining amount of crime? Try Polk County, Florida, (location of Lakeland, Auburndale, Winter Haven, and some smaller towns.) Sheriff Grady Judd is a hardass when it comes to crime. Also, the residents of Polk County are heavily armed and will not hesitate to SHOOT YOU if you try carjacking, home invasions, rape, kidnapping, etc. Criminals may be stupid but they aren't THAT stupid.

Mayor Giuliani Cleaned Up The City: Residents Wanted To Stay And Not Leave Like They Did Prior To His Administration. According to a 1990 Time magazine poll, 59% of New Yorkers said they would live somewhere else if they could, but by the end of Mayor Giuliani's time in office, just 31% said that they'd want to live somewhere else. (Joelle Attinger, "The Decline of New York," Time, 9/17/90; The New York Times/CBS News Poll, Conducted 10/6/01-10/9/01, Results Available At: www.nytimes.com, Accessed 4/20/07)
GIULIANI CUT CRIME 56% AS MAYOR
Between 1993 To 2001, New York City Experienced A 66% Decline In Murders. ("1993 FBI Uniform Crime Report: 1993 Index Of Crime By Metropolitan Statistical Area" Federal Bureau Of Investigations; "2001 FBI Uniform Crime Report: 2001 Index Of Crime By Metropolitan Statistical Area," Federal Bureau Of Investigations)
During The Same Time Period, There Was A 72% Decline In Shootings. ("Reengineering Municipal Services 1994-2001," City Of New York Office Of Operations)

Republicans do it a lot.
And yet there is still a lot of violent crime in Arkansas, a Republican state, run by a Republican Governor. Plenty of drug busts happen here too without any end in sight. I had the same conversation with another person here some hours ago. he didn't didn't care about violent crime in a southern state, and I doubt you will too because it doesn't fit your agenda.

Aside from the state capitol, there aren't many large cities in Arkansas. A good majority of places are small towns/ rural areas where the political affiliation is moderate or heavily conservative.

@SW-User Also, it's pretty hard to point to large cities with Republican mayors at all, regardless of their crime rates.

@SW-User That is a lie. Republicans CORRECTLY say large cities have MORE violent crime. '
And also there is violent crime EVERYWHERE, in every state. Republicans have never denied that.

Dude, I live in Arkansas and there aren’t many large cities here. There are however, small cities, towns, and rural communities and most of them here have a drug or violence problem. Small communities such as Osceola, Arkansas has violent crime and the population is over 6,000. Helena, West-Helena, has a population of 10,000 has violent crimes. Even Conway, Arkansas a small city which has a population of over 66,000 has property and assault crimes. None of these areas I mentioned are large cities.
Now you’re just contradicting yourself.
