There is a very clear distinction between Republicans/ people who voted for Trump and the CULT of Trump.
The cult of Trump are the kind of people who believe that the left legitimately want to destroy their country.
They're the kind of people who believe what Trump tells them is true in the face of objective reality.
They are the kind of people, Torsten, who were so consumed by their cultish devotion that they broke into the capitol building, vandalized, looted and even attempted abduction just to keep Trump in power.

So in the context of this thread and with all due respect, stuff your cry of "both sides!" where the sun don't shine.
This is not just animosity toward political rivals. It's gone beyond that and i think it would be childish of you to repeat the notion that both sides are doing the same thing with respect to the behaviours i have described here.

Here's the big difference, Torsten: You have not described a voting block or even a group of people with a centralized loyalty or affiliation.
You have attempted to deploy "the left" as an umbrella term under which you can place any bad behaviour by anyone who is not conservative.
