PHILADELPHIA: After 70 Years Of Democratic Leadership, ‘Birthplace Of Liberty Is Cesspool Of Murder’

Philadelphia was once one of the greatest cities in America.

Home to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed, and significant American Revolutionary sites, the city is steeped in history.

And its motto is the “City of Brotherly Love.”

But not anymore. The city — run by Democrats for the last 70 years — is now a complete mess. The homeless are everywhere, drug addicts openly shoot up on the streets, and crime has soared.

“Shootings have occurred every day of the week and at any given hour of the day since May 31 – with nearly every corner of the city impacted,” the Daily Mail reported on Wednesday.

More than 750 people have been shot since the end of May — that’s a span of just 121 days, so an average of more than six a day.

The crime wave has hit nearly everyone in the city. Just last week, a Temple University graduate was murdered by a masked gunman while walking down the street, and a 14-year-old football player was killed after leaving a school scrimmage.

This week, a video captured a horrifying moment when an armed carjacker on a bicycle ambushed a mother, 48, and her teenage daughter, 14, in their own driveway.

For the love of God and all that is holy, vote Republican!

More than 160 years have passed since the end of the Civil War and Philadelphia has not had a single republican mayor in all that time. No wonder the city is such a wreck.
@marke There are people still alive today that suffered from the Jim Crow laws. If you think this is history you’re clearly not very well educated
@Budwick how about sex with porn workers?

There are people alive today that have been seriously abused by democrats also, but nobody should hate all democrats just because of the lawless abuse they receive from some. Those cops who have been shot by BLM supporters inspired to murder cops because of BLM rhetoric should not hate all blacks for the despicable hatred of some.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
How dumb can people be to continue voting for more of the same?
It is very curious how the same party gets voted in again and again and again…nothing suspicious here to see! Move along…move along…@Strictgram
4meAndyou · F
@Strictgram They are pretty dumb. I looked at a campaign video of a crowd of folks surrounding the New York Attorney General, Letitia James, who ran on criminally prosecuting Trump, and they looked like all 8 of them were sharing one brain. 😉

Violent crime is not unique to Philadelphia, it is all over the country, from Los Angeles to Portland, Maine, from Alaska to Florida. There are multiple reasons. The single most important step to save lives is passing strong federal gun control laws, especially of handguns.

There is also wide-spread homelessness, poverty and drug abuse in America. This country needs to invest in social programs, job training and placement for the unemployed and working poor, and affordable housing. And invest heavily in education and affordable healthcare. We can pay for this this easily by cutting our outrageous military budget, and forcing the wealthy and corporations, to pay their fair share of taxes.

We need to invest in the public good.

We need a country that works for ALL the people, not just the super rich and corporations.

Gun control laws have proven to be ineffective against crime, but democrats refuse to believe that fact because they are devoted to the lying democrat narratives no matter how stupid or erroneous.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Now in Philadelphia for the most part they just let criminals go instead of arresting them. @marke
graphite · 61-69, M
While our cities descend into utter chaos, Democrats and their FBI have other priorities: Hunting down mythical "white supremacists." There are more FBI agents hunting for white supremacists than there are actual white supremacists.
graphite · 61-69, M
@Ryderbike Read 'em and weep. The Russia Hoax was gross abuse of government power against a duly elected President. A shameful chapter in US history authored by the Democrat Party.
@graphite Maybe when you’re that embarrassed you should log off for a while
graphite · 61-69, M
@Ryderbike Embarrassed about what? Pointing out Democrat corruption and hypocrisy?
The true birth place of America, and look at what it has turned into. The bitter irony. Then Adolf Sniffler goes there and does this 👇

4meAndyou · F
@BizSuitStacy @ Adolf Sniffler...🤣🤣🤣
@4meAndyou That is a good one.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I live in the suburbs, have all my life. Have worked in the best center city business district for the last 25 years. There has been an average of one daylight murder within the best district in the city over the last ten years which has increased to 2 over the last 5 years and will soon average 3. Many shooting galleries of all types are in every part of the city. The politicians and media portray it as nothing to pay attention to.

I am not sure voting republican is the answer to the problem, there are republicans out there like Liz Cheney and others who want to appease the left. I would say to vote for moderates. There is a moderate position for everything that most people could live with. We need sensible changes to the welfare system, to the justice system and to police departments, to taxes, the far right and far left do not want what the rest of the country wants. Far left policy incrementally introduced sine Wilson gave us income taxes have damaged the country.
@Roadsterrider Cheney’s voting record is far right and a lot further right than the woman who replaced her.

Shame on you for being so uninformed
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@Ryderbike On issues that matter to me, she leans to the left, I am as informed as I need to be on Mrs. Cheney.

Liz Cheney proved she is susceptible to treasonous democrat narratives deception by standing with American enemies seeking to overthrow God-bless American views, values, traditions, and the duly elected government of President Donald Trump.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
Yes and all these complex problems have a single source 🤣 Simplistic thinking my friend, simplistic thinking.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
What exactly does that have to do with rampant Philadelpia crime? Take your whining to an appropriate thread please. Trolling is bad form. @Ryderbike
marke · 70-79, M
@Ryderbike
Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one national or ethnic group, a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach.

Trump. ..nationalist

Contempt for democracy .,election was stolen

Demands obedience,,ask Liz Cheney

Strong demagogue approach ..no question trump was and is the biggest demagogue around

Trump is not a fascist. Fascists in America commanded Americans to get the covid jab whether they wanted to or not. Fascists ordered churches and businesses to close whether they wanted to or not. Fascists commanded the southern border to remain open in spite of widespread American opposition and in clear violation of American laws. And so forth.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Precisely @marke
Here are the 10 states with the highest murder rate:
1. Louisiana (12.4 per 100k)
2. Missouri (9.8 per 100k)
3. Nevada (9.1 per 100k)
4. Maryland (9 per 100k)
5. Arkansas (8.6 per 100k)
6. Alaska (8.4 per 100k)
7. Alabama (8.3 per 100k)
8. Mississippi (8.2 per 100k)
9. Illinois (7.8 per 100k)
10. South Carolina (7.8 per 100k)
fanuc2013 · 51-55, F
@SW-User The majority of those murders are in the cities of those states, that have liberal mayors, and/or prosecutors
@fanuc2013

Was it liberals that attempted to hang mike pence? Attacked the Capitol?

Cities that have defunded the police in accordance with Soros-inspired leftist democrat anarchism: Too many to list.
Cities that saw a decrease in violent crime after defunding the police: None.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
Proves its the country they want.
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
Take a look at Highland Park Michigan. If it was up to me I would bulldoze the entire East Side into the Detroit river and start over from scratch. The mayor Detroit has now is very good but there hasn't been a Republican mayor since 1962.
And Trump pardoned the last mayor Kilpatrick who was Democrat so go figure.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Yeah. Go figure. @JohnnySpot
All the violence in cities have one thing in common. They are American cities.

That’s your connection .

Logical fallacies use cause and effect ..without evidence.

Mayor of Miami is a Republican. Only a simple minded cult monkey would claim that’s the reason for violence in Miami.

Ungodliness is at the root of all crimes. Democrats have created widespread violence with their stupid walls of separation between God and America.

@jackjjackson Bingo!
fanuc2013 · 51-55, F
Same with New Orleans! Over 100 years of democrats , so, it must be utopia right?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
How many cities fit this definition? @fanuc2013
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
I last checked August 8th 2022 there was little Improvement.

Crime rate in rural US has soard and crime rate in republican cties have soared to.
Yeah cuz all the garbage couldn’t afford to live in the over taxed cities anymore so they’ve spread like cancer. It’s called spreading the wealth. 🙄 @Spotpot

That wasn't leadership.
Budwick · 70-79, M

It seems it was leaders ignoring responsibility.
