She married an American businessman, presumably in order to obtain passage to the United States. Once in America, she contacted a fair number, if not all, of her relatives to tell them the good news. Utilizing the aid of her husband's legal team, she brought them to the United States via so-called "chain" immigration.

Her name is Melania Trump.

I don't care which particular politician that you are referring to because this type of thing is fairly common and there's nothing wrong with it as long as everything is legal.
It might leave a bad taste in our mouth because we might think that the end goal of that family was just to get over here but if as Americans we have a right to marry foreigners and to assist their families that's part of our American right.
Change the laws if it's so bad but last time I checked we're literally begging foreigners to move over here because we want increase our population.

@REMsleep Consistency is admirable, and all I ask.
@REMsleep But you can see how ridiculous it is when someone who not only has arranged for his wife’s family to get here in that way, but whose own mother arrived that way complains when people not of European descent do it ? Even if they also do it legally ? 😳

@bijouxbroussard Oh sure yes I'm not in agreement with that type of rhetoric but I'm just responding to his post. I don't believe that most politicians are honest or upright or trustworthy so I just really don't even believe anything that comes out of their mouth. I'm not expecting anything different from them.
