@ron122 Hey, did you just start reading news or wake up from some kind of hibernation? Everyone predicted and tried to prepare for what was an inevitable influx of immigrants when Trump was voted out of office. For four years, unconstitutional measures had been in place both there and for other nations. Families were separated, half of them left in the US unaccounted for; did you think no one would come looking? The country once again followed its well-dictated guidelines on immigration under Biden. Yup, immigration is an issue - no one argues that point, as much as you guys love to sing the anthem, "Open Borders." It's how to tackle the issue. One side wants to comprehensively overhaul the system so it does what it promises for people, pass sane, practical legislation and offer those seeking help the hand up they need in order to become productive, contributing citizens.

The other side wants to erect heavy rocks.

And then as a whole, you trivialize and dilute the entire issue because, at the bottom of it all, you have no defense other than "we don't like it and we're scared." All evidence to the contrary, all the research that flies in the face of your contentions, all the history and context that helps us understand current condition...you guys don't need any of it. Your abject hate and fear fuel you.
