big·ot
[ˈbiɡət]
NOUN
a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group

Which of these guys do you think are?

No. I'm willing to listen to all ideas in order to find the best solutions. I don't care which faction it comes from

I guess anyone who strongly believes in their own ideology can be seen as a political bigot then since that would entail rejecting and often disliking the political beliefs of others.

I think they all are.
EXCEPT there is nothing unreasonable about Trump putting America first.
breezyboo · 31-35
@Budwick Don't get it twisted, he puts himself first.

If there was a Third Party I might be but I now share ideologies of both sides. Hence being an Independent.

As far as the above gentleman are concerned, they all are. They are driven by greed, power and money - all of them. Anyone who thinks differently should educate themselves.
They are all compromised.
@SW-User I guess I am curious to see which of our political proxies are committed to working across ideological lines to get things accomplished. Or is willing to break from their party, in terms of their own personal confessions, or for political experiency.

What is the net outcome of someone who wants to burn the house down and someone who does not want to burn the house "working across ideological lines" to accomplish ... what?

"Meet me in the middle, let's just burn down the living room"

Political bigot, honestly, is a term I've never really run across before.
SW-User
Yes, I am unapologetically prejudiced against and intolerant of right wingers

What is an "unreasonable attachment" to reality, facts, truth, science, etc?

What is the tolerant, moderate, centrist space between alive and dead?
SW-User
@SW-User Me too! I despise right wingers.
@SW-User @SW-User Same. I’ve had the experience of them disliking me because I exist. They don’t generally bother to find out what I think.

I don't know enough about the bottom 4 honestly. The top three are not political bigots. Not even Trump. His outrageous lambasting of democrats is not politically based. Trump is not really a republican. He does what he thinks is going to best benefit Trump. All other loyalties and enmities are second to that. He's literally too narcissistic to be a bigot. No value of us vs. Them, only himself and how he can use everyone else.

As for myself... I am a bigot by issues. If someone is socially liberal but fiscally conservative we're going to disagree but I'm not going to hold enmity.

Social conservatives bother me though. I am bigoted against social conservatives.
