I am not sure what this accomplishes. It seems like voters in this country are in the Trump camp (40%) or not in the Trump camp (60%). Was the motivation to rile up the ones not in the Trump camp and motivate them to vote?

Divide and conquer. How havent we learnt this lesson yet.....they have been doing this for centuries. They are whipping up base emotions and like children most succumb and will act out atrocities (soon to come if we continue down this path) based on what their teams hero is saying.
