Green Energy…California Power Grid May Fail in Heat Wave

Green Energy from Solar and Wind cannot supply even the green energy needed to power your fancy new Electric Vehicles when conditions are extreme. The State officials warned that Californians would have to cut back on usage, and even avoid charging their electric vehicles due to a major heatwave targeting the state this week. It might cause blackouts on the California power grid. So much for the reliability of green energy.

@dakotaviper says
your Vote will be Democrat after you are Dead

Still waiting to see any evidence of alleged "massive voter fraud," have you got any?

Have you turned up a SINGLE ONE of the alleged ballots printed by foreign countries?

And what about rigged counting machines? If the machines were altering the count like Trump claimed, how come the hand count matched the machine count so closely???
In all, there were 126 counties within 10 votes of their original vote tally, according to the audit data. Of those counties, 54 counties matched their initial results exactly. No county had an error rate higher than 0.73% compared to their original results.

Yeah, I know, you'll believe your fairy tales regardless of facts, but I'm curious to see what you do in the face of actual facts.

who cares about the 2020 election. Your side won and you're now enjoying the results. Fact of the matter is that you suffer from TDS. Because you keep bringing up the same bs over and over. Get over it.
@dakotaviper You just claimed democrats cheated. Need a reminder???
your Vote will be Democrat after you are Dead
Are you now saying that claim was a lie?

Or are you just moving the goalposts after I rebutted your false claim??
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@ElwoodBlues It is a well established fact that the largest democrat voting block rest in cemeteries across the land.
@hippyjoe1955 Another evidence free claim from the KING of evidence free claims, ROTFL!!!

This looks like a bandwagon fallacy, and a false one at that!! BTW, if you like bandwagons, the majority of Americans believe Biden won fairly:

A January 2021 Morning Consult survey of 1,990 registered voters nationwide showed 65% responded that they believe the 2020 election was "free and fair."

Another December 2021 poll, this one conducted by the Washington Post and the University of Maryland, asked 1,101 adults: "Regardless of whom you supported in the 2020 election, do you think Joe Biden’s election as president was legitimate, or was he not legitimately elected?" Nearly 7 in 10 respondents said Biden was legitimately elected, while 29% said he was not.

A Quinnipiac University poll conducted one month after the November 2020 election found similar results. Six in 10 respondents said Biden’s win was legitimate, versus 34% who said it was not legitimate. A majority of respondents in the Quinnipiac poll also said they did not believe there was widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, whereas 38% said they did believe there was fraud.

When Quinnipiac conducted a second poll six months after the election, the number of respondents who believed the election to be legitimate increased to nearly two-thirds. Respondents who said the contest was illegitimate dropped to 29%.

@ElwoodBlues well why are people who said that they voted for Biden back in 2020, now saying that they didn't vote for Biden. You cannot explain that, now can you. 81 million plus voted for Biden and now half of those 81 million are now saying that they didn't vote for him. You and they cannot have it both ways. Either all of you voted for him or you didn't. I didn't vote for Biden or Trump. I did vote for Jorgenson in 2020.
@dakotaviper
why are people who said that they voted for Biden back in 2020, now saying that they didn't vote for Biden
Do you have any numbers on that? No? Another false claim that you'll back away from and move the goalposts again??

now half of those 81 million are now saying that they didn't vote for him
An entirely made up claim. That's why you can't cite any sources for it.
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
@ElwoodBlues told like a true leftist. you have to have polls, verifiable reports, and charts to back up your data. I get my info from John Q. Public on the street. Real time info, not filtered second-hand info like you rely on.
@dakotaviper
told like a true leftist. you have to have polls, verifiable reports, and charts to back up your data

And I'm PROUD of my demand for verifiable data.

But I guess once you've rejected the geological age of the Earth, evolution, and epidemiology, it's not so hard for you to reject the science of statistics too!

Yeah, you rely on your gut. But be honest, doesn't your gut tell you the Earth is flat, the sky is the inside of a dome, and stars are just tiny little lights? Science, including statistics is how we CHECK ON our gut reactions.
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
@ElwoodBlues yep, you're a proud leftist for sure. Gotta rely on data that can be manipulated to conform to your point of view.

Some things I do know is that Earth has been around for eons, it is round, it's constantly evolving (which your side are the ones denying, i.e. climate change), and space is the final frontier for us humanoids.
@dakotaviper ALL data is subject to manipulation. And do you know who is the greatest manipulator of data? We ourselves, as we filter and cherry-pick, are the greatest manipulators of data. That's what statistics is for, that's what science is for, to try and stop fooling ourselves. Lemme guess, you didn't major in STEM in college, did you?

which your side are the ones denying, i.e. climate change
Again, look at the science.

The global warming / climate change we're seeing in the last 100 or so years is MUCH different from anything measured in the glacial & sea sediment records covering the last 700,000 years. CO2 is rising 100x faster, and temps 10x faster.

"How is Today’s Warming Different from the Past?" https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/features/GlobalWarming/page3.php "As the Earth moved out of ice ages over the past million years, the global temperature rose a total of 4 to 7 degrees Celsius over about 5,000 years. In the past century alone, the temperature has climbed 0.7 degrees Celsius, roughly ten times faster than the average rate of ice-age-recovery warming."

How is today's CO2 increase different? https://www.climate.gov/news-features/understanding-climate/climate-change-atmospheric-carbon-dioxide "The annual rate of increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide over the past 60 years is about 100 times faster than previous natural increases, such as those that occurred at the end of the last ice age 11,000-17,000 years ago."

Fact is, anthropogenic global warming is accepted by a YUGE segment of the scientific community. Would you accept the consensus opinion of the American Physical Society AND the American Chemical Society? How about the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and at least 15 other national organizations of publishing scientists? See https://climate.nasa.gov/scientific-consensus/
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@dakotaviper Elwrong has etch a sketch down pat. Sadly he can prove nothing except his own stupidity.
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
@ElwoodBlues so. Climate Change/Global Warming is still part of Evolution. Why are you still denying it.

And Finally you confirm that ALL data is subject to manipulation.

Oh and if you're wondering, I'm on vacation today. Otherwise, I'd be at work producing those worthless gas pump skeletons that we continue making (250+ per day). Just waiting for the better half to get off work before we head to the Coast.
@dakotaviper
Climate Change/Global Warming is still part of Evolution
I need a bit of clarity here. Are you saying it's part of evolution because humans caused it and humans are the result of evolution? Or are you saying it's some sort of "inorganic" evolution that the planet would do anyway regardless of how much fossil fuels we humans burn??

Regarding bias:
“The first principle is that you must not fool yourself - and you are the easiest person to fool.”
— Richard P. Feynman

That's why askin the man on the street is so much more likely to be flawed than repeated scientific polling.
