DC Mayor Bowser Asked Again for National Guard to Help With Migrant Buses: Denied.

Washington DC Mayor Bowser asked for the second time for the National Guard to assist with buses of illegal migrants sent to her doorstep. And for the second time the Pentagon said NO. The paltry amount of illegals taken to DC (about 7,000 so far) is nothing compared to the hundreds of thousands that have come through the Southern border. But the whining continues both in DC and in New York City (900).

The point of sending busloads of migrants to both blue cities was to get their attention to the problem of open borders. It got their attention, and kicked the whining into high gear.

The deployment of National Guard troops to DC after the January 6 riot was a royal debacle. Feeding them was a disaster with half-raw food or lack of enough nutritious food. They had to sleep in a cold garage at one point after they were thrown out of the Capitol by the powers that be.

And now she wants help? She wanted the illegal aliens, let her deal with them

6,000 - 7,000? That's one night on our southwest border here! Proclaiming they're sanctuary cities, then screeching at the top of their lungs about a humanitarian crisis? I think they've finally figured out how to spell the word h-y-p-o-c-r-i-t-e.

Btw, Mexico's immigration laws are quite clear (esp. 6, 9 & 10)...

@PatKirby our police department doesn't do foreign language. Can't speak English you wait upto 72 hours for a accredited interrupter

@MarineBob

That a good idea. A while back I went to a restaurant here near the border, ordered from the menu at the counter and the cashier spoke not one word of English. Not one word. Had to speak Spanish to make up for her lack of English skills. We all here know that individuals who have a job yet speak no English are from the other side (we don't say 'border' here). Yeah I'm from Mexican heritage but I shouldn't have to resort to doing that. The burden is not on me to speak another language, the burden is on you to speak English, at least in the first few moments. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
