Burnley123 Conservatives in America are concerned with any narrative that doesn't involve their own carefully crafted identities with the irony being that they are practicing identity over any real objectivity any day. This is what they accuse liberals of doing but they are practicing that which they accuse others of.
If you're a white Evangelical, you're not going to want Rosa Parks in schools, particularly because there's larger sects of Christianity which identify as nationalists. Not all Christians do like Quakers or progressive Christianity but the major ones that have pull in Govt certainly do.
If you're an anti gay conservative who only has religious ideals then you're not going to want any narrative around the fact that there's more than heterosexuals that exist. These types tend to tell you things like "basic" biology should only be taught while ignoring that advanced biology exists and is not taught in schools and that the notion of gender, is actually advanced biology and not basic. Just like they don't support evolution simply because they don't understand it.
If you're a traditionalist conservative, you're not going to want women in fighting sports, not consider any perspective outside the traditional framework of the 1950s. These individuals will prescribe gender roles to nearly everything, even if incorrect and then force heterosexuality upon everyone while talking about the "gay agenda."
And so on and so fourth.
