New Florida Teacher Training Aims To Indoctrinate Educators With Conservative Ideology

Even if the founding fathers wanted religion in state much like a theocracy, they still wouldn't be morally right to impose religious values on anyone else. I don't owe any religious nutcase anything, they never did anything for me. This is a case of people demanding respect without giving it, they just want to take like thugs and for America to be a theocracy. How about I don't care about your excuse of the founding fathers, they're dead.

Unfortunately the right wants to move towards a communist way of life.
Why?
Because communism is about control, suppression and fear. Fear that if you don’t follow the communist party agenda you will be disappeared/arrested/held for treason.
The right wing senators or those who ultimately want to be senators love the idea of controlling others, suppressing any free speech and fear of arrest.

@sunsporter1649 Yup, the right doesn’t like people who don’t fit the traditional conservative mold.
Yeah the right is so woke! 😆@justanothername

@justanothername As opposed to your embracing the traditional marxist mold?

@sunsporter1649 Just prefer the Democratic mold.

I think they feel like they can be Kings and Queens of everyone. They have some fantasy ideas in their head where this is the medieval ages and they rule the peasants because they know better than everyone else.

@SatanBurger As opposed to demonocrats, who would never tell anyone how to run their lives?

@sunsporter1649 This year the major book burnings have been led by conservatives when they banned things like Rosa Parks and what not, just crazy. I'm not saying you're incorrect entirely, just that it seems more heavily done by right wingers.

@sunsporter1649 Your cartoon is incorrect, what conservatives do with cancel culture like removing Rosa Parks completely from libraries isn't comparable with Dr. Seuss. You know why? Because you can still access dozens of his books from school while outwardly racist black and Asian stereotyped books (3 of them) were removed. Large difference there bud.

Take the Muppets. Yes, Disney put a warning on some episodes of "The Muppet Show." But they did so while making all 120 episodes of the show available to stream for the first time. How is it canceling the Muppets if you can now watch more of the Muppets than ever before?

Or Potato Head. Hasbro isn't removing the plastic potato that you can put all sorts of funny eyes, noses and shoes on from shelves. To the contrary, the reimagining of the Potato Head brand will be part of a relaunching of the toy this fall. And, as Hasbro recently tweeted: "MR. POTATO HEAD isn't going anywhere! While it was announced today that the POTATO HEAD brand name & logo are dropping the 'MR.' I yam proud to confirm that MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD aren't going anywhere and will remain MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD."

Or Dr. Seuss. While six of his books will no longer be published, the remaining three dozen or so will still be on bookshelves. That isn't a cancellation.

What is happening -- in all three of these most recent instances -- is that the culture is changing. Changing to incorporate more views from more varied perspectives -- not just the opinions of what White people (and mostly) men think is acceptable or not.

@sunsporter1649 Nice way to be hyperbolic as a way to dismiss actual subject matter. Your picture refers to leftists putting things like Dr. Seuss on the chopping block but as you can see as CNN notes, dozens of Dr. Seuss books are still there while it's only the in your face racist content that's been out.

Can conservatives say the same when they want to ban ALL LGBT or black authors? Nope, they wanted to fully ban it, therefore your cartoon isn't logically sound.

@SatanBurger LOL, and just who determines just what is racist and what is not?
